Responsible for developing and implementing recovery strategies to ensure the continuity of critical IT systems and applications; used by all lines of Businesses across 19 geographies; in the event of a disaster or disruptive event. This position requires a thorough understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure and business processes, as well as the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive disaster recovery plan that minimizes downtime and ensures business continuity.

• Develop and implement IT disaster recovery plans that address disruptive events. This includes identifying critical systems and applications, assessing risks, defining recovery objectives and developing recovery strategies
• Manage a team of IT professionals who are responsible for executing the disaster recovery plan in the event of a disruptive event. This may include assigning roles and responsibilities, providing training and development, and monitoring team performance.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that disaster recovery plans are aligned with overall business objectives and regulatory requirements across the geographies that we operate in,
• Co-ordinate with the business and technical teams to plan and conduct disaster recovery exercises to test and validate disaster recovery plans and procedures to improve the overall effectiveness of the recovery plan
• Oversee the media management team supporting backup media and restoration processes
• Pursue streamlining and automation opportunities to enhance the overall efficiency and service delivery quality of the team
• Keep abreast with industry trends and best practices related to IT disaster recovery and incorporates these into the organization's disaster recovery plans and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder with minimum 10-12 years’ experience managing Data Center Operations in the financial services industry.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of DR and business resumption processes
• Good understanding of various backup and recovery strategies within the Data Centre environment
• Conversant with Technology Risk Management Guidelines for Singapore and other geographies
• Strong leadership and analytical skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Excellent communication skills and the able to interact with people at all levels
• ITIL and other Business continuity certifications will be an added advantage

Infrastructure Management

· Drive infra project life cycle – Server provisioning to Cutover.

· Work with infra and app teams on requirement gathering to implementation.

· Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify the gaps.

· Perform RHEL OS patching and other administration tasks for cloud projects

· Guide app team to troubleshoot infra related issues.

· Be the SME for Linux administration and automation.

Operation & Process:

· Prepares technical project plans for new initiatives in BAU

· Collaborates with Application teams and other infra teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements.

· Drive the on boarding of new applications on to the production environment.

Maintain Security:

· In accordance with Bank’s security directives, assists to deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of all infrastructure systems through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change and configuration management, anti-virus measures, patch management, and system scans.

Requirements

· At least 4-7 years of relevant Infrastructure support and OS administration

· Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience managing production application support

· Knowledge in MQ, Elastic Search, AWS would be preferred

· Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration and shell scripting.

· Good command in Microsoft Office products.

· Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace would be handy.

· Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.

• Implementation, commissioning and training of Aptsys’ products for customers. Setup of network and Wi-Fi infrastructure as required.
• Handle level 1 customer support tactfully of inbound call, email enquiries and on-site.
• Analyze and clarify customer technical inquiries. Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Where necessary, ensure that customer feedback, patch requirements and diagnosis are communicated thoroughly to Product Development team.
• Attend daily support meeting to update new issues and resolution progress.
• Manage support cases to ensure issues are comprehensively recorded, tracked, resolved and follow-ups are done in a timely manner.

• Handle the entire spectrum of responsibilities, including setting up, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, networks, and systems. Provide troubleshooting and IT technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, along with user support for desktops, notebooks, and printers, including site installation.
• Collaborate closely with IT Manager and other internal stakeholders on assigned IT support functions to achieve operational efficiency and ensure smooth execution of works.
• Coordinate with users and IT vendors for the delivery of IT solutions and services.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in MS Office 365, end-users desktop support, IT security implementation & operations in Healthcare industry.
