Job Description

· Perform technical research and analysis of technological products that are used for construction (e.g., building materials, techniques, tools)

· Manage the financial accounts for the company’s projects; oversee all expenses related to construction projects

· Monitor project progress on site; ensure that instructions are implemented correctly by the workers

· Receive samples for testing, inspect products for compliance with technical standards, and check the suitability of materials

· Report on progress to clients during meetings; negotiate possible product substitutions if necessary

· Provide training to workers to ensure that they understand how to carry out tasks correctly

· Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for construction

· Write reports and presentations to summarize the information gathered about a product’s suitability for a particular construction project.

· Analyse data from test reports to determine whether a product is suitable for use in a specific type of building

· Ensure that all technical requirements are met during project implementation; check that all necessary drawings and specifications are included in the contract.

· Prepare reports on progress against work orders, spot any inconsistencies and provide regular updates to team leaders or project managers.

· To coordinate with project manager in daily planning and schedule of project ensure project complete on time.

Requirements

· Candidates should have at least a ITE education.

· It will be beneficial if you have construction or building experience minimum 3 years.

· You will also need to be proficient in using relevant software tools for the job. These include Microsoft Office, web design and content management tools, Autocad or other relevant 2D programs, among others

· Independently performing work on site and manage project timeline

· Self-initiative, hard-working and able to perform overtime if necessary

· You will be required to work during the holidays and weekends as needed by your supervisor.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FPI methods and techniques and knowledge of codes,standards, and contractual requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and standardize equipment for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) according to established procedures.
• Process parts and conduct inspections using FPI techniques to identify surface defects.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results to determine acceptance or rejection of parts.
• Document findings and results accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide guidance and training in FPI methods and techniques to trainees and Level 1 personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and contractual inspection requirements.
• Conduct system performance checks in accordance with process standards.
• Develop and manage procedures and inspection techniques (sheets) for Level 3 approval.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 400 hours of experience performing FPI, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• At least two years of experience dealing with aircraft structures, engines, and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.
• Ability to pass the near vision eye test at Snellen 20/25, Jaeger 1 or its equivalent, and the color perception test.
• Familiarity with FPM Code 07 and ASTM 1417 Type 1 D4 a/d specifications.
• Certification in NAS410 / ASNT is required.
• Basic product manufacturing, inspection technology, and aircraft engine maintenance knowledge.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Competency in continuous improvement and multitasking

• Conducts activities of equipment power supply and control in order to assure the proper functioning of the plant. Moves raw material and process solvents received by Production Warehouse personnel
• Loads production equipment and conducts activities aimed to put instruments, services and plant in the right conditions to perform in the planned condition required by Manufacturing Formulas, operating procedures or Shift Manager dispositions
• Documents all the activities executed or to be executed signing and dating the official production documentation.
• Communicates and collaborates Shift Manager / Production Support for all the operations to be executed, in solving any anomalies occurred and suggesting possible solutions
• During the shift controls that the work progress in line with scheduling. Assures registration of SIC ( Short Interval Control) data which contributes to the control program DWOR ( Daily Weekly Operating Report)
• Maintains a high level of cleaning in the working area dedicating parts of the working hours to housekeeping operations of the department areas and equipment following the indication of the Shift Manager/Production Control
• Any other general administrative duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.
