The Centre for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) operates a high-tech satellite ground station at the National University of Singapore. The Centre operates multiple dish antennas that track, receive and process data from remote sensing satellites orbiting the planet and conducts active research programmes on optical, infrared and microwave remote sensing.

The antennas and systems at CRISP are key to Singapore's ability to communicate with our satellites in orbit, and a diligent maintenance regime is essential to keeping them in good shape. We work to develop understanding, capacity for good judgement, and sound ethical practice in the context of healthcare provision, biomedical science and health-related policy development. CBmE, directed by Prof Julian Savulescu, is a thriving centre for learning, teaching and research relating to ethical and legal aspects of healthcare and biomedical sciences. We are responsible for the development and delivery of the Health Ethics, Law and Professionalism programme through all five years of the undergraduate medical curriculum in addition to the postgraduate and continuing professional education courses in bioethics.
