• Configure, customize and maintain PeopleSoft applications to support business processes and workflows.
• Regularly evaluate and enhance the PeopleSoft SIS application functionality to maximize efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to meet evolving needs.
• Engage with colleges and universities to understand their functional need and align project objectives with client requirements through effective communication.
• Ability to accurately document and articulate current and desired required functional processes with detailed steps and responsible stakeholders throughout the life cycle. Identifying complex and potentially dysfunctional processes based on historical practices and data needed.
• Perform system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing for PeopleSoft enhancements and upgrades.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for PeopleSoft modules.

• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to integrate PeopleSoft with other systems and applications.

To support and drive the execution of the Sembcorp Industries’ M&A transactions across key focus markets in Asia, Middle East and globally in the power, renewables and urban infrastructure segments.

This is a key role to lead and manage the end-to-end investment process from origination to transaction execution of the Group’s investments and capital recycling initiatives.

The position sits within Group Investment Management which reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer, and plays an important role in supporting the Group’s energy transition and transformation targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Source, identify and execute potential investment and capital recycling opportunities in accordance with the company’s mandate to meet business performance objectives.
• Structure, assess and negotiate transactions including leading and supervising deal process due diligence, financial modelling and valuation, deal analytics, financing and transaction documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modelling, scenario analysis and synergy assessments to evaluate potential transactions and investment opportunities as well as preparation and review of presentation and materials used for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners including banks, financiers, legal advisors and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration / Economics / Engineering
• 10+ years of relevant experience in investment management, investment banking, corporate development, in-house M&A role or transaction advisory with a proven track record of executing M&A transactions
• Experience in the power, utilities, renewables and infrastructure industry and familiarity with the broader energy industry preferred

Responsibilities:

· Data Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized data storage system, such as a data warehouse or data lake.

· Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources and systems, including databases, APIs, log files, streaming platforms, and external data providers.

· Data Transformation and Processing: Develop data transformation routines to clean, normalize, and aggregate data. Apply data processing techniques to handle complex data structures, handle missing or inconsistent data, and prepare the data for analysis, reporting, or machine learning tasks.

· Contribute to common frameworks and best practices in code development, deployment, and automation/orchestration of data pipelines.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Data Engineering role (3 years +), with a strong track record of delivering scalable data pipelines.

· Extensive experience designing data solutions including data modelling is required.

· Extensive hands-on experience developing data processing jobs (PySpark / SQL) that demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering principles is needed.

· Experience orchestrating data pipelines using technology like ADF, Airflow etc is necessary.

· Experience working with both real-time and batch data is important.

· Experience building data pipelines on Azure is crucial. AWS data pipelines will be beneficial.

· Fluency in SQL (any flavour), with experience using Window functions and more advanced features is required.

Understanding of DevOps tools, Git workflow and building CI/CD pipelines is essential.

Nice to Have:

· Domain knowledge of commodities, covering Sales, Trading, Risk, Supply Chain, Customer Interaction, etc. is highly desirable.

· Familiarity with Scrum methodology and experience working in a Scrum team can be advantageous. This includes understanding of Scrum roles, events, artifacts, and rules, and the ability to apply them in a practical context.
