Roles and Responsibilities

1. COACHING

 Work with the High Performance Manager (HPM) and the WAG National Head Coach to maximize performance of gymnasts in the National Training Centre (NTC) to achieve the long-term objectives of Singapore Gymnastics.

 Develop and implement a broad long-term development plan, as well as a detailed annual plan that develops gymnasts to achieve their potential and SG’s objectives. This should include a structured system to recruit potential talent and the transition out of any gymnasts who do not meet the development requirements.

 Work out detailed daily and monthly training schedules in line with SG’s National Programme to meet training objectives.

 Provide fundamental training in the areas of technical, physical and psychological competition strategies.

 Assess each gymnast’s role and potential in the squad as well as their progress in training by:

o Collaborating with each athlete to set realistic targets for training sessions and competitions.

o Maintaining records and monitoring the outcomes of training programs.

o Regularly reviewing the training and competition records of each athlete.

o Conducting feedback sessions at the end of each training and competition.

o Providing guidance and advice to the gymnasts before and during competitions.

 Ensure strict discipline and a high level of commitment from each gymnast.

2. SPORT DEVELOPMENT

 Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the National Programme.

As a Recruiter at Wise you’ll be responsible for hiring the best talent across the APAC region. You’ll own talent management, helping the business to scale and enable Wise to achieve our mission – money without borders. You’ll be a key member of the recruitment team with a focus on delivering exceptional talent while keeping candidate and hiring manager experience front and centre of what you do. This is a 12-month full time contract position based in Singapore.

Your mission:

• You’ll help us scale the teams over the next few years so we can help more customers save money using Wise
• You’ll manage candidates end-to-end ensuring they receive the best possible experience in line with Wise values, even if they weren’t successful (you never know, the perfect role might come up later), and build a strong talent network locally and internationally
• You’ll build and develop relationships with with hiring teams, guiding them through processes

• Collaborate with sourcers to understand the candidate market and engage the best talent
• Use data to support your hiring recommendations, as well as using it to retro processes, figure out the blockers to hiring, communicate how these can be overcome and continually optimise the process to make sure it is globally scalable
• You’ll partner with hiring teams and other People teams (e.g. People Operations), to support various initiatives (e.g. referral programs, talent mapping, salary benchmarking, etc)
