• Min 5 years of experiences in Marine Project Management holding the same designation
• Good management and leadership skills
• Have own vehicle to travel to site inspection when needed
• Able to travel overseas for short trip when required

Basic Functions:

– Acquisition & Merger Activities

– Assume overall responsibility for corporate business development activities of MP’s diagnostic & life science products

– Executive member of the Strategic Planning Team to develop short & long term business objectives & strategies

– Business development budgets

– Identify and evaluate new markets for significant growth of the company’s range of diagnostic & life science products

– Seek collaboration with research institutions and commercial organizations for tie-ups including acquisitions, licensing of technologies, contract manufacturing, contract research, joint product development, & product commercialization.

– Introduction of new products & technology to the company through OEM, OBL, PLM, CR/CM partnerships

– Keep abreast of developments in the industries in in-vitro diagnostics testing, life science, biotechnology, biomedical science & healthcare, and to update the company personnel on these industries and technological trends which are of relevance

– Lead organizational projects to improve business model as in setting up of regional manufacturing facilities & promoting their products

– Analyze and assess the relevant public policies related to MP’s business interests. Communicate and interact with the external stakeholders and drive the implementation activities.

Duties:

– Identify and perform due diligence of companies for potential acquisition & merger

– Identify new products and technology for introduction to MP under OEM, OBL, & PLM partnerships

– Review agreements pertaining to all business development activities

– Prepare and achieve business development budget

– Develop & implement strategies for the organization in generating new businesses through new products & technology, new markets & acquisition

– Governmental relationship development and maintenance

Requirements:

Ability to: Demonstrate high degree of leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of: Sales & marketing management, and business development in relevant products knowledge.

Education: MSc/PhD degree

Experience: 5 - 8 years’ experience in sales & marketing and/or business development in diagnostics (eg. infectious diseases testing market, diagnostic test kits, instrumentation and related products) and/or life science products (eg. Molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, biochemicals). International sales and marketing and/or business development experiences in USA, Latin America, Europe, Middle-East, Africa & Asia will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

Lead the development and transformation of new genetic and epigenetic product/services, provide customers with comprehensive solutions and extensive technical support, covering research and clinical applications. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop, implement, and manage business strategies in both ASEAN and China markets.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage a team of experienced scientists in product or technical support, responsible for new product development and supporting sales in market expansion.
• Conduct market research in the field of biotechnology to identify product directions.
• Launch the new product after comparing the product performance from different suppliers.
• Thoroughly analyze customer needs and design corresponding comprehensive solutions.
• Assist sales in providing professional technical support to customers during both pre-sales and post-sales stages.
• Coordinate internal and external resources of the company to ensure smooth and high-quality project delivery.

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Master or PHD in life science field (Genetics, Molecular Biology and Biomedical engineering) is preferred
• Minimal 7 years of relevant experience of application support, technical support, R&D or related work in the life science industry.
• Familiar with the principles and usage of mainstream PCR and sequencing platforms, including both second-generation and third-generation technologies.
• Knowledgeable about different application areas for PCR, sequencing and mass spectrometry products, with a keen sense of market trends. This includes fields such as oncology, infectious diseases etc.
• Experienced in managing large-scale projects and skilled in designing overall solutions.
• Possesses experience in operations, technical support, and BD, with a preference for candidates who have experience in team building.
• Outstanding leadership and team collaboration abilities, capable of effectively breaking down objectives and coordinating different departments within the company, leading the team to effectively resolve issues and achieve the goals.
• Excellent learning capabilities. Candidates with international company work experience and experience in biomedical instruments or technologies are preferred.

As an integral Project manager you are responsible for highly innovative complex challenging projects in a high-end precision environment. You have an integral responsibility, from customer request to development to implementation of volume production in the factory and delivery at customer site. The technologies are complex and the products are first of a kind. VDL ETG is a contract manufacturer and VDL ETG T&D works on customer order only. The projects are often part of a larger development project at the customer site. You need do build and maintain a close relationship with the customer. Projects have an international scope so as a Project manager you deal with different company cultures, different regional cultures and a different Ways of Working (Project Management and Development processes).

You manage the projects with a (large) multidisciplinary team of highly skilled, mainly technical experts in architecture, design and manufacturing. That’s why we expect you to have a solid technical background, with experience in product development projects, as well as professional project management skills. You are responsible for:

• The delivery of innovative mechatronic systems from initiation and concept & development until manufacturing and customer acceptance
• Project set up, organization and Governance
• Leading the project team, in close cooperation with a System Architect
• Monitoring and control project progress, take action and escalate when needed
• Managing stakeholders: external customers and suppliers as well as internal stakeholders at various managerial levels and functional domain (T&D, business, manufacturing and others)
• Applying the project management and development processes of the organization
• Contribute to the continuous development of the project management competency of the department

Requirements:

• Professional project management skills, preferably certified (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA)
• A degree in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Physics or related
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience as a project leader in high-end product development projects, leading multidisciplinary team(s)
• You have knowledge of Design for Excellence
• You are a team builder and able to inspire, motivate and convince people
• You are a pro-active, analytical, creative person with a “can do” mentality
• Good communication skills verbal and written

• To cook high quality traditional authentic South Indian food, especially to prepare Chettinadu varieties of dishes.
• Should have the knowledge about properties and usage of herbs and spices in food preparation, and to cook South India dishes in a traditional way.
• To ensure that all the dishes are freshly prepared and the food standards are met.
• Plan and arrange ingredients for next day preparation and orders.
• Need to understand the customer requirements, as per order.
• To Introduce new dishes and menus.
• Need to monitor stock rotation procedures are followed as per inventory.
• Experience in all Indian cuisines will be an added.
• To maintain quality of food
• A deep understanding of preparation of ingredients of dishes.
• Capacity to work under pressure during the extremely busy period.
