Responsibilities:

• Work with partners to identify and resolve security weaknesses in the environments which could pose risk to the company.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
• Work closely with teams of engineers chartered with building, scaling, deploying and maintaining manufacturing infrastructure, application services, data and logging pipelines
• Monitor, analyze and investigate all related security alerts in the environment to identify the root cause.
• Conducting security audits & assessments for cloud & manufacturing environments.

Requirements:

• Experience conducting security audits & assessments for cloud & manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with Qualys, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or other endpoint security and vulnerability scanning solutions.
• Experience with analyzing and investigating security alerts or breaches to identify the root cause.
• Experience with identity and access management, including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorized system users
• Experience with verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements.
• 4 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas in large production environments:
• Security hardening and monitoring of Linux or Windows/AD systems and associated services and applications.
• Configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, Chef.
• Experience working with aws cloud platforms is highly desired.
• Experience using platforms and tools like MDE, Wazuh, Osquery, Wireshark, Zeek, Suricata.

Research Fellow, Science, Mathematics and Technology Cluster – LBELL group, to work on cutting-edge brain-inspired computing research as a member of the group that includes Desmond Loke and Yu Jiang. There will be a possibility to work with external collaborators for the deployment of brain-inspired computing algorithms.

Job Scope

• The candidate will join an interdisciplinary and highly collaborative team of Scientists and Engineers.
• Responsible for enhancing the LBELL group's capability in brain-inspired computing development, and design of algorithms, overseeing model development and technology use, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Communicating results to the scientific community through publications and presentations; and
• Supervising undergraduate students and laboratory technicians.

• Carry out inspections of aircraft engine parts, accessories, modules using appropriate tools, equipment, materials and methods
• Identify and apply inspection engineering techniques, methods, standards, data analysis, lifecycle principles and equipment risk-based monitoring techniques to support inspection
• Interpret inspection engineering techniques, methods, standards, data analysis, life-cycle principles and equipment risk-based monitoring techniques so as to conduct inspection engineering
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and identify defects and types of repair required
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure good physical condition and accurate dimensions

• 2 to 5 years’ experience in aero engine component visual and dimensional inspection
