1. Job Purpose

The Director/Deputy Director of Digital Services is responsible to drive NHG’s digital transformation efforts and associated change management for population health plans, relationship based care and integrated care with primary and community care providers and partners. He/She will support the leadership in business transformation efforts through the implementation of digital strategy and digital products in alignment with the overall business needs and plans. In particular, he/she will work closely with the Chief Clinical Informatics Officer (CCIO) and the Population Health Management and Planning team of Population Health Campus in the development of the digital strategy and data strategy for the our residents and patients. He/she will also work closely with the Digital Health department at NHG HQ and stakeholders such as MOH, Synapxe to ensure congruency and alignment.

The Faculty of Law of the National University of Singapore (NUS Law) is one of the premier places for legal research in Asia. It has an active research culture with seven research centres, an intense and diverse array of research events and seminars, and large numbers of eminent researchers visiting it from around the world. In 2023, the Law School was ranked 9th globally by the Times Higher Education and 12th in the world by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

We invite applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions commencing in AY2024-2025. These Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions may be held generally within NUS Law or, for candidates with appropriate backgrounds and expertise, within one of the Centres at the Law Faculty.

Successful applicants will commence their Fellowships at the start of August 2024 and conclude them at the end of July 2025.

Benefits

1. Fellows will be appointed to the full-time position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at NUS Law on a one-year contract (with the possibility of re-appointment up to a maximum term of 2 years, subject to re-application and consideration by the Faculty), and with a fixed remuneration of S$78,000.

2. Fellows will be allocated a Faculty Research and Conference Fund allowance of S$3,000 to support attendance at academic conferences. Fellows attached to the Centres will have a similar allowance, subject to the funding conditions required.

Selection criteria

The selection committee will consider the following criteria in making an appointment for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow at NUS Law:

1. The applicant must be of exceptional calibre, having attained a doctoral degree in law which must have been successfully completed and examined during the period 1 January 2022 to 30 April 2024. Applicants who have not been awarded the doctoral degree by the date of application but who intend to submit their doctoral thesis for examination not later than 31 January 2024 are welcome to apply, but in these circumstances written assurance is required from the applicant's supervisor (and endorsed by the awarding institution) that there is reasonable expectation that the doctoral degree will be awarded. Applicant must hold a doctoral degree in law by the time of appointment.

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Senior Research Fellow in the Synthetic Biology Translational Research Program (TRP), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Appointments will be made on 1-Year contract basis.

Purpose of the post

The Senior Research Fellow will be responsible for, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and a team of researchers on the goals set out for the projects of interest. The SRF’s principal role will be to work on enhancing tools of the Enzyme Function Initiative at National University of Singapore (EFI@NUS), as part of the SynBio-AI Innovation Accelerator of the National Centre for Engineering Biology. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems through the application of advanced bioinformatics techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), transcriptome-wide association studies (TWAS), and imputation analysis. The role also requires the candidate to work closely with other stakeholders such as but not limited to: NUS SynCTI, NSCC, University of Illinois, AI.SG, NCEB.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Research Fellow is expected to involve, but not limited to, the following:

1. Genomic Analysis:Proficiency in analyzing next-generation sequencing (NGS) datasets, including whole-genome sequencing (WGS) and whole-exome sequencing (WES).
   Variant calling expertise, covering single nucleotide variants, structural variants, and copy number variants.
   Mutational signature analysis to unravel genomic alterations.
   
2. RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, and Methylation Data Analysis:RNA-seq analysis using tools such as STAR, DESeq2, PEER, LeafCutter, featureCounts, TopHat, and Cuffdiff.
   ChIP-seq data analysis utilizing Bowtie and MACS, and methylation data analysis with Bismark and GeneSpring.

1. Diverse Population Studies:Experience working with multiple genetic datasets from diverse populations and integrating them for comprehensive analysis.
