This role is responsible to shape, drive and manage the IT function and define the SEA Cluster IT strategy to drive long-term functional priorities, delivery framework for systems/ applications, integration and infrastructure deployment in line with overall regional business strategy and objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

Overall the responsibility will include :

• Implement the Global IT Strategy and action programmes within the cluster, enabling cost effectiveness, service quality and business development in a highly competitive and changing marketplace.
• Network and develop strong business and IT relationships for the cluster and region, ensuring co-ordination, direction and interaction with counterparts to meet their needs and resolve issues
• Drive IT innovation across the cluster in support of customers and operational excellence
• Be the first point of escalation for IT related issues impacting cluster operations
• Steer performance, build relations and manage IT service providers based in the geography and other locations where services may be provided

Requirements

• Must have University degree in technology, business / vocational training in IT or business-related subject or equivalent experience
• Experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
• Able to assess risk from both technical and business viewpoint
• Strong Commercial Awareness Skills and excellent business acumen
