The Transportation Operations Coordinator is responsible for  ensuring the smooth operation of our logistical activities by driving carrier and service provider performance through collaboration and coordination of processes, carriers, and facilities. Ensures performance and lowest cost transportation by analyzing company and customer needs, researching transportation methods and auditing carrier costs and performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build customer relationship and provide excellent customer service, understanding their needs and goals
• Identify and address issues that may impact customer satisfaction and work on solutions to improve the overall customer experience
• Manage the flow of goods and materials by coordinating with customers, 3pls, carriers, warehouses,  and other stakeholders to streamline the supply chain process to meet KPIs and OKRs as agreed to with the client, i.e OTIF
• Arrange transportation for shipments, considering factors such as cost, transit time, and mode of transport. Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and haulage companies to schedule pickups and deliveries as and when required
• Drive carrier and service provider performance for the Hub and Spoke locations
• Responsible for transportation management of warehouse inbound and outbound activities, warehouse and trailer capacity management
• Support the collection and interpretation of data, provides data analytics to improve the transportation operational efficiency of their assigned warehouse location
• Coordinate and collaborate  with multiple parties including customer stakeholders, warehouses, carriers, service providers onsite team members to resolve any issues that may arise
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal departments, external vendors, and customers regarding logistics-related inquiries. Communicate shipment status updates and address any issues or concerns promptly
• Acts as a liaison between Google’s warehouse vendor and carrier
• Support domestic and international shipments as well as ensuring Google’s partner carriers are aware of requirements for warehouse operations and any critical shipments needing attention
• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries ensuring it reaches destination as requested
• Proactively approach and resolve bottlenecks in the shipping and receiving processes
• Develop and monitor carrier KPIs and metrics for transportation analysis
• Identify and suggest corrective actions for ongoing delivery issues/opportunities and SOPs

• Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute tailored account plans for key customers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and positioning Fastmarkets as their preferred business partner. 

• Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Ensure client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, timely solutions, and proactive communication to meet or exceed customer expectations, fostering loyalty and retention. 

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, and customer success) to ensure seamless delivery of products and solutions, supporting a holistic approach to account management. 

• Market and Industry Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings, using this knowledge to provide clients with strategic advice and anticipate their evolving needs. 

• Reporting and Performance Tracking: Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), account performance, and client feedback, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies and improve outcomes. 

• Contract Negotiation and Renewal: Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and renewals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while protecting Fastmarkets' commercial interests. 

• Executive Sponsorship and Engagement: Proactively drive executive-level sponsorship and engagement, ensuring alignment between Fastmarkets' leadership and client senior stakeholders to strengthen relationships, address strategic priorities, and unlock new opportunities for collaboration. 

• Account-Based Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute tailored account-based marketing strategies for key clients, driving targeted engagement, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting specific growth objectives within each account. 

• Leadership and Role Modelling: Act as a role model for execution, collaboration, and engagement across Fastmarkets, demonstrating best practices in account management, fostering a culture of teamwork, and inspiring others to deliver high-performance outcomes aligned with the company’s strategic goals

• Clients and Stakeholders: Direct interaction with senior executives and key decision-makers at Fastmarkets' top 100 clients to understand their needs and drive account strategies. 

• Sales Team: Collaborate with the sales team to align on account strategies, share insights, and coordinate efforts for successful client engagement and revenue growth. 

• Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement account-based marketing strategies, ensuring targeted campaigns that resonate with key clients. 

• Product Development and Management: Engage with product teams to provide client feedback, influence product roadmaps, and ensure that client needs are met through Fastmarkets’ offerings. 

• Editorial and Pricing Development: Collaborate with editorial and pricing teams to ensure customer engagement and drive price adoption. 

• Consulting and Events: Partner with the consulting and events teams to drive pipeline opportunities as part of an integrated value proposition.  

• Customer Success Team: Coordinate with customer success managers to monitor client satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions. 

• Finance and Legal Teams: Collaborate with finance and legal teams to negotiate contracts, manage pricing structures, and ensure compliance with agreements and policies. 

• Executive Leadership: Interface with Fastmarkets’ executive leadership to provide updates on account performance, strategic initiatives, and client insights that inform company direction. 

• Operations and Support Teams: Work with operations and support teams to facilitate seamless service delivery and resolve any operational issues impacting client relationships. 

The Role

As the Customer Success Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of providing support to our partner restaurants. This is a role that involves a high volume of inbound and outbound communication with our partner base. To ensure we deliver exceptional support throughout the various stages of the partner lifecycle, our team operates as three focussed verticals:

1. Onboarding: responsible for guiding newly acquired partners through their first three months with Quandoo

2. Partner Support: our frontline team handling all incoming communication channels - phone, chat and email

3. Growth & Retention: nurtures the partner base post-onboarding with proactive, regular outreach

The Responsibilities:

• Provide a high-level of support to our partners restaurants

• Understand the partner lifecycle and how the three verticals work together 

• Work closely with the wider Customer Success team to ensure goals are being met across our partner base in the APAC region

• Become a trusted advisor to our partner restaurants by helping them gain the most out of our platform and reach optimum value

• Proactively engage with partners to mitigate churn risk through early assessment of their use of the Quandoo service and product

• Be the voice of our partners to provide internal feedback on how we can improve

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance program in line with regional and international regulations such as MAS regulation, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), data protection, Sanctions and industry-specific regulations.

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the organization’s policies and procedures are updated accordingly.

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

• Act as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and external auditors.

• Liaise and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and manage any regulatory inquiries and reporting obligations for the organization in the region.

• Analyze and interpret large and complex datasets to develop data-driven insights.
