About the Team Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules, and systems to ensure quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing a clear narrative of core metrics with key insights to Governance & Experience business teams, including merchant product, creator product, customer experience, aftersales etc..
2. Become a key strategic thought partner for all business team leads; proactively identify problem areas and solve them together backed by data and insights, contribute to policy and product strategy development and execution.
3. Measure performance of key projects and launches and create an effective feedback loop for optimization.
4. Lead collaboration with other data & analytics teams outside GNE department leveraging each others' core capabilities; define and develop sensible KPIs and targets, produce monthly/quarterly management reporting, improve the data acquisition process given the constraints.
5. Lead a team of analysts ensuring quality output with high speed of delivery; give day-to-day directions as well as guide them for continuous growth in their capabilities and skillsets.
Qualitifications
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in mathematics, statistics, economics is preferred; or major in science or engineering or engaged in data statistics, analysis, modeling related working areas after graduation.
2. Proficient in SQL and tableau and familiar with Python or R for data analysis.
3. At least 10 years of working experience in data analysis partnering with business, preferably in the eCommerce or content platform business.
4. At least 3 years of people management experience required.
5. Written and verbal English skills are required for daily communications with global teams.
6. Have a strong learning ability and curiosity; familiar with starting a new business; able to lead a small project team to support business.
7. Have a strong ability to work under pressure, have the courage to overcome difficulties, and accept challenges.
