About ASEF Communications Department (COM)

COM promotes Asia-Europe cooperation by raising awareness and knowledge about ASEF, ASEM and Asia-Europe relations. Aimed at a diverse range of constituencies including the media and general public, COM’s activities foster greater mutual understanding between Asia and Europe. Among the seven thematic areas of ASEF, COM is responsible for Media. Through its projects, COM creates unique networking platforms for the exchange of views and ideas, as well as cooperation among media professionals from Asia and Europe.

The Role

The candidate will play an important role as Technical SME in the development team to support the digitization projects using BPM / Workflow system. The candidate is expected to be involved in all technical aspects of project delivery and/or maintenance from assessing requirements, assessing technical solutions, developing solutions, testing to system implementation. The candidate is also expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, customize, implement, and maintain the assigned systems.
• Work closely with Team Leader to gather requirements from the customer, perform technical impact analysis and estimate effort for development.
• Prepare and/or update and review technical documents.
• Manage offshore development teams to ensure technical standards and quality are met.
• Perform code review to detect any potential coding problems.
• Perform unit test and system integration test, support user acceptance test.
• Prepare release procedure and support production implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues and problems to provide workarounds.
• Perform root cause analysis and come up with preventive measures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with min. 5 years' experience in software development using Java technologies (J2EE, Spring Framework) and front-end technologies (JavaScript/Angular/AngularJS), preferably in a bank or financial institution.
• Experience in working with offshore team is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in deploying, and maintaining, cloud-native Java applications on Microsoft Azure is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in Newgen BPM system preferred.
• Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile).
• Good presentation, communication, and coordination skills.

The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and security of the physical facilities in NUS Business School. The Manager works closely with various departments to ensure that the facilities meet operational needs, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Renovations, Maintenance, and Repairs

• Supervise and coordinate the renovation, maintenance and repair activities for all physical assets, electrical systems, plumbing, and other equipment

Space Planning and Utilization

• Optimize space allocation and layout to meet organizational needs and ensure maximum space utilization
