- Design, develop, implement, maintain and review competitive Total Rewards programs for the region Asia to attract, motivate and retain talent
- Support regional and local HR as well as Talent Acquisition in the creation of competitive reward offers for new hires based on business needs, affordability and compliance with existing compensation and benefits structures
- Support the global annual income increase budgeting process for all countries in the region and make reasonable and data-based recommendations for merit increase budgets in alignment with regional and local HR and management
- Own the job grading process in the region, incl. job analysis, job titles and job descriptions; support Global Rewards in the grading of senior management jobs in the region
- Develop annual salary ranges for the countries in the region that enable the calculation of employees’ individual market pay positions/compa-ratios based on the obtained market data
- Support the global merit cycle and bonus calculation process, esp. by modeling and providing pay/merit matrixes for the countries in the region to ensure fair, competitive and performance-based salary adjustments
- Plan, administer and review Santen’s benefits programs and employee benefits offerings in Singapore, and support benefits programs in other countries in Asia
- Provide guidance and recommendations to managers in the region on all Rewards-related matters
- Manage all Rewards-related employee and manager communication in the region in close collaboration with regional and local HR by providing relevant and meaningful communication material
- Support Global Rewards in rolling out global Rewards initiatives, programs and processes, esp. by providing data as well as customizing and delivering global communication based on regional needs
- Ensure that Rewards practices of all kinds are in compliance with the respective countries’ legislation
- Stay updated of industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance existing Rewards programs, plans and policies in a cost-effective manner; monitor legislation changes that may have an impact on existing Rewards practices in the region and take actions as required
- Manage regional Rewards-related vendors as and when required to ensure effective service delivery, holding them accountable based on service level agreements
