Overview:
As a Talent Acquisition (TA) specialist, you will play a key role in sourcing, acquiring, and onboarding top talent to meet the organization's needs. You'll be responsible for developing a talent acquisition strategy, executing/supporting various talent acquisition activities, implementing strategies to attract qualified candidates, and ensuring a seamless hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of HR to develop and implement TA strategies aligned with the company's objectives and talent needs.
2. Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to identify and attract potential candidates. Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates against job requirements.
3. Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Provide support in conducting interviews, assessing candidate skills, and facilitating the selection process.
4. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and guiding candidates through each stage.
5. Employer Branding: Assist in promoting Activateās brand through job postings, social media, and TA events to attract top talent and maintain a positive organizational image.
6. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or HRIS. Generate reports and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize processes and make data-driven decisions.
7. Onboarding Support: Collaborate with other colleagues in HR and hiring managers to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and orientation activities are completed.
Education: Bachelorās degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years prior experience in talent acquisition which MUST include in-house experience. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and TA tools is a requirement. Prior TA experience in IT or technology industries is a clear advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: As an individual contributor, you need to be able to pay strong attention to detail and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate relationships with candidates, hiring teams, and external partners to facilitate successful recruitment efforts.
Critical & Structured Thinking: Be able to analyze issues critically, identify the root causes, understand the context, generate options, and select the option that best addresses the issue.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Assertive & Diplomatic: Be able to be assertive yet diplomatic when dealing with internal and external stakeholders to be able to achieve work objectives without casting any negative image for the company and the HR department.
