This role is part of Defence Collective Singapore (DCS), that manages Singapore Discovery Centre's (SDC), Singapore Airforce Museum (AFM) and Singapore Navy Museum (NM) - Sales department. The jobholder will plan, execute, and manage the sales of programmes, events, including but not limited to, pricing, day-to-day sales operations and working with internal departments to meet specifics requirements catered for each event. Successful candidate may assume as a Team Lead to manage a team.

Responsibilities:

• Potentially leading a team of 2-3 Sales executives to provide guidance, directions and ensuring the team achieved the desired results individually and as a team
• Develop and maintain long term business relationships with clients by providing consistent sales service, follow up on enquiries and rapport building.
• Lead / oversee / participate in sales outreach events, trade & road shows and activities on need basis;
• Provide accurate quotations to all sales enquiries in a timely manner;
• Identify potential sales channels to develop strategies for new business opportunities and achievement of sales targets;
• Recommend improvements that will positively impact sales and efficiency;
• Coordinate, conduct visits and events enquiries visit with internal department to ensure smooth handover of events execution;
• Ensure quotation to clients adhere to profit margin guidelines and expenditure to meet budget guidelines;
• Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports; and
• Update sales productivity system and review action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
• Responsible to manage and monitor work process from the initial account acquisition process to completion;
• Prepare weekly Sales Projection report for management review.

• Prior experience as an event sales/consultant/organiser in MICE/Tourism/Attractions will be an added advantage;

The Membership Manager / Executive is responsible for overseeing Defence Collective Singapore’s (DCS) membership. As a key member in the Membership team, this role is crucial in fostering community engagement and advocacy through membership.

Defence Collective Singapore (DCS) is the parent company of Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum, Singapore Air Force Museum, and upcoming brands to be subsumed under the DCS umbrella in near future.

Key Responsibilities:

Membership Management:

• Develop and implement innovative membership strategies to attract, engage and grow DCS members, with the end goal of cultivating advocacy.
• Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to create desirable value propositions of the membership. That includes member benefits, user experience at various touchpoints and loyalty programme.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the membership programmes, including acquisition, retention, renewals, benefits, member app, as well as database management and analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members through personalised communication and a calendar of creative events, to foster a positive, engaging, and impactful member experience.

2D/3D Designer

Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and visually engaging design concepts for F&B spaces that align with the company’s CI.
• Create mood boards and initial design ideas to communicate concepts effectively.
• Prepare precise technical drawings, including floor plans and elevations, for construction.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate and comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Prepare comprehensive design presentations and documentation for submission to building management and other relevant authorities.
• Manage and track approval processes to ensure timely completion.
• Incorporate feedback from internal teams, and building management into design revisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, understanding project briefs and objectives.
• Participate in design reviews and team meetings to discuss progress and integrate suggestions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to incorporate new ideas and technologies into designs.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3D design and drafting, preferably in the F&B industry.
• Proficiency in key design tools such as such as SketchUp, AutoCAD and/or 3D rendering software.
• Manage multiple project concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative and detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics.
• Willingness to take initiative in design innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

- To perform job assignments by selecting, using and maintaining various service tools correctly.

- To perform installation of electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.

- To perform installation of engine wiring as accordance with the drawings provided.

- To disassemble and assemble engine components i.e. oil pump, water pump and cylinder head, etc.

- To perform engine valve lash adjustment.

- To assist and perform mechanical works i.e. installation of radiator assembly, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping, hoses, etc.

- To assist and perform alignment works for radiator assembly, engine and alternator installation.

- To prepare generators for load test.

- To perform safety devices test and load test including the recording of the required parameter readings.

- To perform ET tool connection onto engine to view diagnostic codes and events and file date.

- To perform troubleshooting on engines and generators when problems arises.

- Knowledge of Hydraulic Staring System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel and testing will of advantage.

- To perform general servicing on engines and alternators.

- IT knowledge will be of advantage.

- Programmable Logic Control knowledge will be of advantage.

Requirements:

- Possess an ITE or equivalent.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience.
