In 2018, Kantar launched the Analytics practice, an exciting new area of the business that uses cutting edge technology and solutions to creatively solve client problems for some of the world’s most recognisable brands. The Analytics practice supplements Kantar’s traditional market research services with technology products that pull in data from across the internet; we use combinations of traditional and digital data to help brands understand their consumers, improve their products, and drive growth.

Senior Consultants in the Analytics practice play a leading role in the management and delivery of projects across our portfolio of digital measurement, research, and optimisation solutions. You will deliver client projects, extracting insights from digital data, and translating these into actionable advice and online strategies for the digital marketing programmes of global brands.

This role sits within a dynamic strategy and insights team, delivering advanced marketing analytics and digital consumer insight projects for a wide range of clients and industries.

This is a permanent, full time position, based in our offices in Central London (full remote for the duration of the pandemic).

KEY OUTCOMES

· Management and lead in the delivery of consulting projects, associated research, and metric programmes to a high quality and standard of execution

• Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data, identifying insights that drive informed decision making; this is a hands-on role.

· Reviewing the outputs of the team, ensuring methodological processes are adhered to, data analysis is accurate, and the insights/recommendations delivered create value for the client.

• Day to day management of client relationships.
• Presenting deliverables to client stakeholders and promoting the further use of Kantar Analytics solutions across client businesses.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.

· Supporting Kantar Analytics Directors in the UK with business development initiatives.

· Line management of highly-skilled consultants and analysts.

CAPABILITIES

• Significant experience delivering data-driven work in a digital marketing, research/insights, or consultancy environment.
• Proven ability to bring quantitative and qualitative data to life, through insight discovery and storytelling.
• Experience defining research/analytics-led projects, and scoping the required time, effort, and resources needed to deliver.
• Experience managing client relationships, or the relationship with internal stakeholders, handling commercial discussions and/or acting as a point of contact on projects.
• Experience managing small teams of analysts, researchers, or consultants, prioritising/assigning work, managing quality, and ensuring projects are delivered on time/budget.
• High standard of verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning, with a strong desire to broaden your knowledge across the digital landscape.
• Native/Fluent proficiency in English.

While not requirements, any combination of the following would be advantageous:

• Knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
• Hands on experience with digital analytics tools (e.g. Social Listening tools, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager etc.).
• Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and/or programming languages for data analysis.
• Fluency in additional languages considered an advantage.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform specimen reception, preparation and packing of specimens
• Carry out specimen analysis, operate, maintain and troubleshoot the analysers
• Assist with telephone reception duties and ensure patients’ bills are accurate and correct
• Adhere to department’s standard operating procedures and safety requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Point of contact in the department for laboratory support and inventory matters
• Performs laboratory support services assisting the dept in running an efficient laboratory.  Includes but not limited to housekeeping, preparing buffers, media, routine calibration of equipment and maintaining inventory levels by working closely with delivery and stores personnel.
• Has an area of expertise in the lab and a good understanding of a subset of equipment.  Able to apply expertise and perform standard laboratory activities such morning verifications, equipment data and time check etc
• Drives and implements improvement activities using laboratory expertise and OE concepts
• Equipment owner and trainer for equipment or lab activities
• Liaise with other Lonza departments and vendors for inventory and equipment matters
• Point of contact in the department for equipment calibration, preventive maintenances, etc
• Perform equipment validation and qualification, equipment requalification, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting etc
• Perform Equipment Validation Maintenance Quality Systems review and re-qualification activities to ensure GMP equipment is continuously maintained in a validated state
• Perform change control assessments for GMP equipment and associated validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Perform assigned Quality Systems activities including: Document Management System (DMS), and Track Wise system (Change Control, Deviations, CAPA, etc)
• Any other duties as assigned by Management

Key Requirements:

• Experience and understanding of laboratory equipment and associated quality systems

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Client Directors to further build client relationships and maintain/grow accounts. (e.g. collaborate on proposals, costs, account reviews, lead presentations/ discussions, etc.).

• Independently able to lead and manage standardized as well as customized studies (Including designing Questionnaires/discussion guides, analysing and evaluating results, and report writing)
• Independently able to develop, implement, coordinate, and manage research projects in collaboration with the internal Research team, external consultants, & operations team.

Requirements:

• Experience in Quantitative research is non-negotiable
• Competent and well-versed in all stages of market research (e.g. proposal writing, questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and presentation)
• Strong industry knowledge especially in the Brand Health Tracking domain.
• Experience in other disciplines such as U&A, segmentation, pricing, purchase journeys, and product and concept tests would be an added bonus
• Experience in managing a high volume of complex quantitative research studies under tight budgets and schedules.
• Good organiser with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
