The Role

Job Summary

The incumbent will be part of a larger team within the IFF department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.

What you will be doing

·       Carrier Management

·       Negotiate buying rates to ensure profitability of business

·       Manage the purchasing performance tool within the Department

·       Optimize profitability: Control of bookings through a cockpit, re-purchase when opportunities are identified

Team Management

·       Ensure and monitor team compliance to the Bollore’s Code of Conduct and Company’s regulations

·       Ensure team understanding and implementation on Bollore’s Value in daily work behaviors

·       Plan and monitor team performance including give coaching and counselling needed to deliver expected outcomes

·       Plan and monitor team development together with HR Division

The successful candidate

·       Bachelor’s degree requirement with min. 10 years of Seafreight experience

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast paced and dynamic multi-cultural MNC environment. In Freight-forwarding or Logistics industry will be a plus.

·       Understanding of margin (yield) management

Client leadership and development

• Build and maintain client relationships at the Manager and Director level.

What you will need

• Several years’ experience working marketing agency side, in a B2B environment with a proven track record for adding value back to the Client.  
• Experience in managing key/senior client and partner relationships and comfortable communicating both internally and externally.  
• Experience in directing marketing programs based on client/business objectives, and in recommending marketing solutions to business challenges.  
• Proficient with IT including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools.

You will work Laundry Operations Manager, Singapore on the daily laundry operations specifically focusing on drycleaning, laundry washing and finishing, ironing and packing.

Main Responsibilities

• To manage laundry operations teams (itemising, packing, washing/finishing, ironing)
• To set and ensure daily/weekly KPI and targets
• To oversee garments itemising & assessment, garments’ finishing operations
• To report to laundry manager on daily production and quality matters
• To oversee the maintenance and upkeeping of washers, dryers, dryclean machines, garments finisher equipment, ironing equipment, and other equipments as assigned

Requirements
