Job Summary:
The primary role of the Head of Business Development is to identify and develop new sales opportunities within the helicopter engines aftermarket sector across various countries in Asia. This role requires a leader with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in business development. You will oversee a team of business development managers (BDMs), guiding them to sign By-The-Hour (BTH) contracts.
Responsibilities:
•Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to find gaps and opportunities for BTH contracts
•Lead the BDMs to develop customized BTH contract proposals and convert these opportunities into signed BTH contracts
•Support the Front Office Director (FOD) in preparing the mid-term sales forecast (5-year-plan)
•Define the strategy of the Network Partners to better support the small fleet operators (SFOs)
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, and industry contacts
•Track and report the key performance indicators (KPIs) during the routine Regional Leadership Meetings (RLM) and Business Steering Meetings (BSM)
•Review the contract performance with the teams to identify opportunities to increase contract margins
•Lead a team of BDMs, foster a collaborative and high performance team culture
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred
•More than 7 years of business development preferably in the rotorcraft industry or in the aviation industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
•Proven ability to drive revenue growth an develop strategic partnerships
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
