Responsibility

• Responsible for checking the quality of all the products manufactured.
• Recognize the importance of production process control.
• Report immediately to HOD and relevant personnel of any technical and disciplinary problems encountered during production.
• Seek approval from HOD before troubleshooting.
• In-charge of safekeeping of keys to main gate and ensuring that the gate is always locked after office hours.
• In-charge of the keys to the raw materials room and intermediate room when the Controller is absent.
• To check that the production procedure is followed and report any deviation from standard practice stated in the BMR.
• Report any non-compliant behavior according to GMP standards.
• Be well-trained in GMP standards.
• Provide suggestions for improvement of production work flow and its control.
• Willingness to learn all the production processes and operation and control of each piece of equipment.
• Perform the required administrative duties such as submitting the daily report, monitor the flow of BMR.
• Train new or existing production personnel according to training schedules from HOD.
• Assist the HOD with the production work flow.
• Duties as and when assigned by the Company.

Commercial Executive

Reporting to the Manager, Commercial and Costing, you will be an integral member of the group’s Commercial Team, focusing on shipbuilding and ship repair. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse vessel specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of shipowners from both the public and private sectors.
• Work closely with our internal production and design teams to evaluate material, equipment and labour costs, as well as any additional expenses related to the ship design and construction process.
• Conduct research on market prices for materials, equipment and services to support cost estimation for new shipbuilding projects.
• Develop costing reports for management approval.
• Contribute to value engineering solutions without compromising quality.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering field.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in cost estimation in the marine and offshore industry.
• A basic understanding of shipbuilding and shipping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with internal teams and clients worldwide.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.

Duties

• Design, development, building and qualifying of various lab instruments, the major focus on Sample Preparation equipment including our featured FastPrep family (homogenizer).
• Develop and fabricate test equipment in-line with test specifications under the direction and guidance of direct supervisor.
• Execute tests using test equipment that measures temperature, electricity, light, flow, pressure, strain, force, distance, time, noise, weight etc.
• Collect and analyze test data/results, document results and outcomes.
• Support the design and fabrication/assembly of both working and visual prototype models.
• Analyze equipment failures and factory work stoppage problems and provide solutions.
• Fabricates, repairs, improves designs and constructs electro-mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors effectively for fabrication and OTS parts procurement.
• Maintains detailed and up to date test data in laboratory notebook and active test logs.
• Support manufacturing ramp up, and design transfer during product development.

Requirement:

• Master's Degree and above in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of hands-on Mechanical and Electrical experience.
• Possess broad base of knowledge with understanding and skills in the following areas: Electrical, Electronics, Fabrication, Tool Making, Machining.
• Must be proficient in the use of all hand tools including saws, drills, grinders and other tools.
• Able to operate test equipment that measures temperature, electricity, light, flow, pressure, strain, force, distance, time, noise and weight.
• Can work from prints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.
• Reads wiring/electrical and piping schematics and engineering drawings.
• Electrical experience/training in use of and design of AC and DC circuits.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment and measuring tools necessary.
• Self-motivated, team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience and knowledge of the following areas preferred:
