The role you'll play:
We are looking for an Account Manager to help drive and deliver excellent communications strategies that inspire clients and engage their target audiences. You will oversee the day-to-day management of client accounts, managing upwards and downwards to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent work. You will play an important role in the agency, establishing trust with key clients, supporting senior management by taking ownership of client accounts and providing guidance to junior team members to help them grow and thrive.
About you:
- At least 5 years’ experience in communications, ideally from an agency
- Knowledge of what is going on in the global healthcare, food and/or nutrition sectors
- Experience in project management, effectively managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- A strong track record in nurturing excellent client and media relations, with outstanding interpersonal skills
- A talented writer with a flair for storytelling
- An energising, can-do attitude with a thirst for learning and self-development
- High levels of initiative and drive, with a well-developed commercial acumen and professional work ethic
- A deep understanding of public relations and digital communication
- Experience and interest in new business pitch and proposal development
- A Degree or higher in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism or any communications-related field is preferred but not essential.
