Simulation Engineer

The candidate will be part of the team developing a next-generation electrified mobility simulation platform using an agent-based modelling approach. The platform is envisioned to be integrated with other modelling & simulation systems under a digital twin strategy. The responsibilities may include any of the following:

• Develop simulation modules for the agent-based simulator.
• Design and implement simulation scenarios for electrification.
• Optimise the performance of the simulation.
• Calibrate and validate the simulation model based on real-world transportation dynamics.

This project aims to model the corrosion induced damage process in reinforced concrete. A multi-physics model is envisioned, to capture the ingress of chloride ions, the stress loading on concrete material due to the formation of corrosion products, and the resultant damage in concrete.

Department Overview:

The Stage Product Development focuses on bespoke designs for customers in a wide range of industries, such as semiconductor, solar, flat panel, hard disk, LED, printed circuit board and 3D printing.
