Overview

The role of the Data Center Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (ITIM) requires strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. We are seeking a Program Manager with the ability to self-direct and who has a strong background in Data Center Construction with an emphasis on passive telecom infrastructure/construction management.

The DC ITIM is responsible for the program management of all integration and technical infrastructure fit-out activities associated with MSFT owned system and/or services and critical infrastructure that is required to be installed into new data center builds or lease facilities to deliver capacity to the business across Southeast Asia. The role requires the identification and management of scopes and interdependencies between all external and internal stakeholders and coordinating same with the physical construction build and general contractor. We finance metals and mining projects worldwide both on a corporate finance as well as on a project finance basis, using ECA cover as one of the major structuring elements.

We are looking for an experienced originator with a well-pronounced business development acumen, responsible for identifying and developing new business in the metals & mining industries across Asia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively originating new business in the region. In cooperation with the sector team at HQ in Frankfurt and under the supervision of the sector team head in Frankfurt as well as local senior management in Singapore, the candidate will be responsible for :

• Independently establishing and continuously developing business relationships with potential customers (new clients and existing customers with untapped business potential) with the aim of generating an ongoing, profitable flow of new business based on tailor-made offers. One focus is on winning arrangement mandates.
• Development of new markets and identification of business opportunities across all market sectors of the bank in accordance with IPEX’s business and risk strategy.
• Primary point of contact for the customer (both business-specific and general).
• Development, design and implementation of a sales strategy for the respective potential customers and target markets.
• Ongoing development of sector, branch and regional expertise.
• Reinforcing the brand name and awareness of IPEX by participating in conferences, webinars, events, seminars, etc.
• Based on a deal team approach, close constructive cooperation with colleagues from Structuring and Portfolio Management (Front Office) as well as with all other internal interfaces (e.g. Analysis, Risk Management, Legal, KYC unit, Syndication, Structuring Advisory).
• Regular exchange within the department and with all relevant interfaces with regard to risk, market and product developments.

We look for:

• Master’s degree in Business/ Finance/ Economics or other related field with a postgraduate qualification.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience in banking or financial sector, including experience with ECA-backed structures and structured financing.
• Skills and experience to provide (new) customers with competent knowledge of the bank’s products and to achieve success in sales.
• Good knowledge of the market in the region.
• Proven success in the initiation of new business and structuring new business.
• Knowledge of international corporate, project and export finance.
• Communication skills and a confident, engaging manner.

• Strong communication, acquisition and negotiation skills, including the ability to lead discussions with C-level counterparts and highly ranked government representatives.

The incumbent will be a key member of the Technical team, involved in Actuarial Pricing, Product Development and Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of pricing models for all retail P&C lines.
• Utilize actuarial and machine learning methods to improve technical pricing models and collaborate closely with other functions to ensure fast implementation.
• Pricing for new or large opportunities, as well as proactive management of existing Scheme and Fleet pricing, involving close collaboration with underwriting and distribution teams.
• Develop and calculate regular KPIs for monthly portfolio monitoring reports and dashboards delivered to the executive committee.
• Conduct market competitor analysis and reports to identify pricing and product opportunities.
• Draft policy wordings for new and revamped products.
• Drive the product approval process and documentation for Allianz group as well as regulatory compliance.
• Drive improvements to existing processes to advance efficiency.

Capabilities and Qualifications:

• Degree in actuarial, statistics, mathematics, business or related field.
• Actuarial qualifications (FCAS, FIA, FIAA or equivalent), or partial qualification, would be an advantage.
• Familiar with Singapore P&C market.
• P&C Actuarial pricing skills, familiarity with Radar Base, Radar Live and Emblem is a plus.
• Team player with good interpersonal and influential skills to successfully persuade and motivate others to act.
• Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally.
• 3+ years of P&C pricing experience.
