Job Description & Requirements
· Comprehensive Store Management
· Work as a merchandiser for Japanese food products
· Opinion exchanges and coordination negotiations with affiliated companies in Japan’s prefectures regarding production area products
· Customer service – Prompt follow-up on sales leads and drive good customer service
· Create an actual sales floor based on a wide range of knowledge of Japanese foods and sales floor experience
· Coordination and supervision – coordinate, manage and monitor project initiation, update on development progress and resources deployment
· Operational – to assist and support management on operational activities as deemed appropriate
· Other duties as assigned by Director and HQ
Job requirements
· Good Japanese product knowledge
· Excellent spoken, reading, written Japanese and English are required to liaise with Japanese-speaking customers as well as in negotiation with food companies in Japan who can only communicate in Japanese
· Self-motivated and open-minded with ample cultural awareness and eager to work in a multi-cultural environment
