My client in the maritime industry is seeking a service technician to support the team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Reporting to Head of Operations
· Work closely with Project Manager
· Responsible for preparations and executive of customers’ project Initiation
· To release to Operation including coordination, system assembly, testing, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company’s strategy, commitments, and goals
· Work closely with the various team to ensure successful implementation of the projects from contract award to system commissioning and delivery to our customers.
Duties:
· Generate bill of material based on the order requirement.
· Work with the Production Manager to ensure all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality level, budgets, and timescale.
· System Assembly, Testing, Shipment, Warehouse and Stock Management
· Coordinate with various departments to resolve customers' queries.
· Provide remote support.
· Attend to assignment according to requirement locally and overseas.
· Carry out in house testing on new products.
· Liaise with contractors and customers to ensure on time delivery of projects.
· Attend Local or Overseas Site Survey
· Attend Local or Overseas Commissioning onboard vessels.
· Prepare report according to Site Survey requirement and post commissioning.
Requirement:
· Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or equivalent
· Provide technical support to customers.
· Troubleshoot/ isolate faults and repair faults.
· Work on all other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head - Operations from time to time.
- Comfortable in going onboard vessels to do servicing
