The job holder is required to work within the parameters/guidelines/regulations set out in the Marketing Guidelines and Process, FIM, BIM and other related HSBC Group Manuals and those laid down by the Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Key requirements & experience

Responsibilities:

• Examining laws and regulations applicable to the Company
• Provide advisory and manage any Anti-Money Laundering (AML) queries
• Conduct due diligence checks and account/profile reviews at Client onboarding or periodically
• Review any transactional alerts or investment restrictions generated from portfolio management system
• Review marketing materials, completion of appropriate forms and account forms
• Work with relevant departments or personnel in case of customer and operational complaints

Principal Responsibilities:

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• At a minimum, an Investment management certificate or equivalent minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking or buy side Investment Management
• Must have prime brokerage knowledge and technical knowledge of Asian markets including China
• Knowledge of stock loan markets in Asia and basic knowledge of corporate actions
• Good understanding of securities lending, equity swaps and associated trading activities. In addition a working knowledge of upcoming regulation changes and dividend taxation would be useful
