Job Responsibilities

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites.
• Conducts daily briefings and attend meetings
• Help provide management and supervision to the Housekeeping Rooms & Suites Team Members on all shifts.
• Check VIP rooms prior to check in and in-house.
• Ensure that the requirements of VIP arrivals and in-house guests are managed well.
• Ensures turndown services are done in accordance to Marina Bay Sands standard.
• Handles all complaints and guest surveys pertaining to housekeeping service.
• Ensure that Housekeeping leaderships are kept fully aware of all feedback from either guests or other departments.
• Conducts regular inspections of rooms ensuring standards of cleanliness is always maintained.
• Ensure that the turnaround of the “House Status” is timely
• Be proactive in safety and accident prevention. Ensure that all Team Members are adequately trained in the use of housekeeping cleaning and sanitizing chemicals as well as lifting techniques and other potentially hazardous parts of their daily work.
• Ensure a clean, safe and pleasing environment for all Guests and Team Members.
• Help manage operating costs, especially labour, productivity and operating supply consumption.
• Help develop and implement clear, detailed training programs which match the needs of Team Members with a wide range of skills, languages and cultures.
• Supervise, train, schedule, mentor, develop and evaluate Team Members.
• Ensure all tasks are performed on time and according to safety standards.
• Help monitor consumption and wastage of : equipment; guest supplies: cleaning supplies: and linen supplies.
• Help ensure that linen and operating supplies are available in sufficient quantities, while minimizing the value of stock on hand.
• Recommend the timely replacement of guest room and suite supplies and equipment.
• Participate in research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes in anticipation of changing customer needs.
• Maintain close liaison with all other Departments so that their Housekeeping operational needs are met by the Department.
• Help manage periodic cleaning programs.
• Conducts bi-annual and annual Performance Appraisals providing honest and appropriate feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

• Minimum College Diploma or University Degree in Hotel Management.

Experience

• At least 3 years in a supervisory role in a five star hotel housekeeping or related environment.
• Ability to successfully operate large-scale, high pressure environment with sudden change in business levels
• Knowledge in multi-cultural service protocols and standard.
• Experience in hotel pre-opening/renovation at supervisory/managerial levels.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICTIONS

The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Hospitality Management or significant experience with high-end Western dining food and beverage operations. The individual should have a proven track record of success as General Manager or comparable position with a highly visible, prestigious organization. Confidence in one's ability and capability of presenting one's self in a polished and professional manner are principle characteristics. The ideal candidate will have the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as the ability to consistently execute at a very high level in a high-volume, cutting-edge operation. S/he must be a creative and energetic, “hands-on” individual who is personally driven to create phenomenal food and beverage experiences and a service oriented environment, culminating in quantifiable financial results. S/he should be highly numerate and analytical, with the ability to track, measure and evaluate the success of all food and beverage programs. Strong accounting/financial knowledge is required.

The individual must have the ability to train associates in alcohol intervention, food handling sanitation, company standards and service. A working knowledge of liquor/wine product presentation and inventory methods, as well as excellent time management skills is a must. The desired candidate will be extremely customer-service oriented and will always be seeking to exceed customers’ expectations, both internal and external. The individual will also have an understanding and appreciation for the passion and flair surrounding a highly innovative and creative organization. S/he will have the ability to manage private events and will feel comfortable in a fast-paced organization. Quantitative Risk Advisory Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Deloitte SG Regulatory and Financial Risk advisory team, as a quantitative manager. As a contributing member of the RFR advisory team within the financial services industry assurance practice, you will be providing business advisory services to a portfolio of diversified financial service clients across a range of topics, including Climate Risk modelling, cross-asset Derivatives Valuation, Capital Methodology and AI Model Validation services.

Responsibilities:

Your scope of work will include assisting clients with the following:

• Quantitative modelling for complex and evolving areas such as Climate Risk Stress Testing and AI Model Validation
• Quantitative analysis for Markets & Treasury products/models as well as Capital Methodology (e.g. FRTB, SACCR)
