RESPONSIBILITIES

- The key person in charge for Hull portfolio

- Achievement of Marine Business Development Plan and growth targets for all Marine lines of business

- Support promotion and ongoing support of Cargo Online systems with clients/intermediaries.

Staff Development

- Supervise, mentor and coach junior staff by enhancing their product/ market knowledge.

Client Management

- Identify and develop potential business areas and maintain professional relationship with existing and potential customers. This shall include provision of technical advice on customers’ insurance need.

- Review, accept and underwrite business within Risk Acceptance Authority and guidelines including claim matters, recommendations on wordings and liaison with MSIJ, MSIG Asia, overseas BUs and reinsurers.

As an Assistant Manager / Manager (Conservatory Operations), you will be responsible for the husbandry and maintenance of the plants and displays within the Conservatories. You will be expected to plan and manage projects, provide advice and raise horticultural standards. Your knowledge of glasshouse operations will lead to innovations in pest and disease management, and provide for the healthy long-term sustainability for Conservatory plants in a public setting. You will be required to provide expertise on the latest developments in the horticulture industry, particularly in sourcing for novel plant introductions to add to the diversity of plants that can be used to further enhance our exhibits and landscapes, and add interest to our local gardening scene.
