Job Objective

• To ensure that each department operates smoothly during office hours / OT.
• To ensure that better quality of products are produced.
• To ensure that all production personnel operates according to current Good Manufacturing
• Practice (cGMP) standards.

Responsibility

• Responsible for checking the quality of all the products manufactured.
• Recognize the importance of production process control.
• Report immediately to HOD and relevant personnel of any technical and disciplinary problems encountered during production.
• Seek approval from HOD before troubleshooting.
• In-charge of safekeeping of keys to main gate and ensuring that the gate is always locked after office hours.
• In-charge of the keys to the raw materials room and intermediate room when the Controller is absent.
• To check that the production procedure is followed and report any deviation from standard practice stated in the BMR.
• Report any non-compliant behavior according to GMP standards.
• Be well-trained in GMP standards.
• Provide suggestions for improvement of production work flow and its control.
• Willingness to learn all the production processes and operation and control of each piece of equipment.
• Perform the required administrative duties such as submitting the daily report, monitor the flow of BMR.
• Train new or existing production personnel according to training schedules from HOD.

• Responsible for leading a team of Technicians who are key to the media factory production and key process in thin film sputtering.
• Maintains sputter equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime for both schedule preventive maintenance and unscheduled downtime.
• Maintain RBA and safety matrices and make sure comply to all audit requirements.
• Administers training programs to ensure: Proper equipment operation, preventive maintenance, repair programs and procedures.
• Supervise and maintain spare parts and inventory controls.
• Provides technical supervision of jobs done by Engineering specialists and Manufacturing Specialists with responsibility of quality of work, methods, safety, cost and enforcement of company regulations and policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position reports to the Production Planning function
• Chairs production meeting and provide updates on the status of the production orders
• Ensure production orders are executed to meet customer’s delivery dates and escalate to manager when at risk.
• Attend MRB (Material Review Board) meetings with the team and follow-up action on the status of non-conformance. Escalate to supervisor for decision-making when required.
• Work closely with all departments to ensure production orders are executed as per plan with minimal delays
• Extensive usage of ERP systems on order tracking and maintaining of records
• Monitor skip operations status, when occur, work with all departments to follow the production routing to ensure accurate clocking of operations by all departments
• Prepare Gantt charts and project manage high profile orders and keep supervisor updated on the status
• Analyse and prepare overall plant capacity and loading
• Closely monitor and expedite production order status.
• Must be able to feel comfortable manoeuvring on the shop floor with adequate PPE and observe all safety requirements in a Manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma or 2 years relevant experience in Planner role
• Past experience with ERP system will be added advantage
• Good proficiency in Microsoft office
• A good team player, energetic and willing to work hard
• Good communication skill
