Build portfolio of clients using personal and professional networks in Australia, leveraging the resources and expertise of JPMorgan’s platforms, products, services, and networks

• Actively involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients, cultivating prospect lists, building trust and credibility with prospects resident in Australia, and actively converting them into clients and deepen relationships

• Work in close partnership with Investors in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities

• Maintaining client relationships, answering clients’ enquiries, day-to-day account operations, update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, operational, and due diligence requirements.

• May require regular travel into Australia to foster relationships, as well as working closely with our partners in Australia onshore, including Private Bank Prospectors and our Corporate and Investment Bank colleagues to identify possible client sourcing channels and partnership opportunities

• Ability to create differentiated events for UHNW Australian clients. Oversee private client relationships by providing strategic advice based on each client’s wealth objectives. Provide access to specialists and manage clients’ investment portfolios, and responsible for working with other team members on client sponsorship / Know Your Client.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• University bachelor degree holder in any discipline.

• Minimum 7 years' of professional experience in a similar Relationship Manager capacity at another Private Bank or wealth management firm, covering the Australia market. Alternatively, you may come from a different industry with good network of UHNW clients and demonstrated a good track record in business development, sales management and relationship management.

• Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience and existing UHNW Australian client relationship

• Understand and have working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly. Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.

• Strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of clients (private individuals and families)

• Strong knowledge of local Australian wealth management market and local preferences of UHNW clients specifically

• Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance.

• Detail-oriented and results-focused.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.

Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking (“IB”) is responsible for the origination, sale, structuring and trading of fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives and money market products. The Global Emerging Market (“GEM”) Business Finance team in Singapore is responsible for ensuring the official risk and financials of the GEM business are reported accurately on a timely basis, with key control processes (e.g. trade capture controls, model risk control, significant trade analysis, new product approval, end-of-day valuation and risk runs, etc.) executed to the standards published in the bank’s policies & procedures. The team performs financial planning & analysis of the global GEM business performance, including Asia, CEEMEA & LatAM, for senior stakeholders reporting and management purposes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Support CFO of GEM and traders in various regions with reporting and analysis of performance
• Manage stakeholders and offshore team to deep dive into performance and explain financial metrics.
• Partner with business and other infrastructure groups on initiatives and measurement of progress
• Prepare budgets and tracks actual results against budget targets.
• Perform analysis of usage of financial resource for optimization and to measure return metrics on such resources

Your skills and experience:

About the Position

As a member of the APAC Solutions team, the Energy Market Analyst will be responsible for engaging directly with both potential and existing clients to increase sales and deliver technical work. The successful candidate will help drive Energy Exemplar’s growth in markets across the APAC region, by working with the sales team to identifying relevant customer use cases and assist in the development of the go to market strategy. The energy market analyst will act as an energy markets subject matter expert, responsible for thought leadership towards customers. They will seek to understand the customers challenges, identify solutions within the Energy Exemplar product offerings, and articulate the value proposition within the marketplace. The role has a heavy modelling focus.

The successful candidate will be expected to heavily contribute to the building of energy market models for those regions, using Energy Exemplar’s flagship PLEXOS software tool (the role does not require programming/software development). The candidate should have a good understanding of fundamental market price drivers, and ideally have experience in stochastic optimization techniques.

This energy market analyst works in close collaboration with a team of technical subject matter experts. The position is supported by strong training, coaching, and mentoring and provides opportunity for professional growth and career advancement, as well as international travel to customer sites. Successful candidates will have a strong background in modelling, and good customer facing skills; as well as being outgoing, professional, driven, and able to multi-task in a dynamic and often changing environment.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

• Drive the development of energy market models across the APAC region.
• Support the Sales Executives with new prospects’ sales inquiries and pre-sales support from start to finish
• Support the sales team in meetings with prospective clients. Understand the prospects business challenges and propose innovative solutions based upon Energy Exemplar product offerings.
• Deliver product demonstrations to new and existing customers
• Create Proof of Concept studies by developing models which demonstrate the potential of Energy Exemplar’s solution to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical responses to customer enquiries. Including RFI/RFP.
• Produce technical sales collateral including presentations, documentation and training materials.
• Provide product training, both remotely and on-site, as required to new prospects & existing customers.
• Provide advice, guidance & updates to sales executives, new prospects & existing customers on energy markets modelling.
• Lead in software implementation projects to Develop detailed energy market and/or power systems models to meet customer needs.
• Carry out research and understand trends and developments in APAC energy markets, providing thought leadership towards customers.
• Research and formulate white papers, webinars to market Energy Exemplar’s products and services
• Engage with prospects & existing customers to improve their energy modelling capabilities.
• Troubleshoot possible issues in customers models and liaise with development team.
• Fulfill other duties as required by APAC’s Senior Leadership Team and other department personnel as requested/required.
