Job description
In your new role you will:
- To plan the facilities operation and maintenance program
- To carry out the work on building and leasehold maintenance, and plant facilities
- To monitor, collect data, analysis and report the plant facilities system performance, resources efficiency, abnormality and breakdown of plant facilities
- To conduct training and generate or update work instructions, work risk assessment and failure mode effect analysis on respective plant facilities system, equipment or process related
- To carry out continuous improvement projects for facilities
- To supervise the contractors and ensure that the contractor safety handbook and housekeeping protocols are adhered to strictly
- Support other functions’ continuous improvement programs and projects
- Response to emergency situation during office hours and non-office hours, weekend and public holiday when necessary
Requirements
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronic engineering, building services or facilities management
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering, maintenance or management in manufacturing environment
- Have a strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as building automation and control systems.
- Proactive in resolving problems and have a strong focus on safety to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations.
