About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the implementation of cutting-edge payment technologies within our Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking divisions. This role will focus on driving payments modernization initiatives, including the deployment of payment hubs, payment platforms, and the integration of various payment schemes across different channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of complex payment systems projects while managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Payments Modernization Projects: Oversee the implementation of payment hubs and platforms, ensuring that the project aligns with corporate banking strategies and objectives.
• Payments Platform Implementation: Guide and manage the end-to-end implementation of payment platforms (Oracle Payments, ACI Worldwide, Temenos, FIS, etc.), ensuring that these systems are deployed efficiently and effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business, technology, legal, and compliance teams, to define requirements and ensure alignment on project deliverables.
• Delivery Management: Lead and manage complex projects involving multiple payment types and systems, including ISO 20022, SEPA, Low-Value Batch Payments (ACH, GIRO), High-Value Funds Transfers (RTGS, RENTAS), Cross-Border Payments (SWIFT), and Real-time Payments (UPI, PayNOW, Instapay, etc.).
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and help drive efficiency in payments processing through the integration of new payment technologies and tools.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards and industry best practices (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, SWIFT compliance).

Reporting and Documentation: Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manage General Site Office Administration including coordination of IT and HR matters with HQ

2. Manage Administrative Payments for site expenses

3. Update and monitor workers’ overtime, responds to project site staff queries

4. Monitor manpower requirements at project site and ensure minimal disruption of daily site operations

5. Update Project Organisation Chart and monitor manpower

6. Liaise with M&E, Design, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Safety departments within project on site matters and provide administration support

7. Oversee application of statutory passes required for site project work

8. Ensuring all documents versioning up to date within filing system

9. Coach and review the work of site administration officers

10. Provide evaluation/findings and project results to HQ Tokyo in Japan on a regular basis

11. Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned

Requirements:

1. Possess Degree in Economics/ Business Administration or related discipline

2. Min. 3 years experience in Project Administration, construction industry preferred

3. Multi-tasker who is able to communicate with various stakeholders including Project and HQ Management

4. Independent Worker requiring minimal supervision

5. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

6. Fluency in spoken and written Japanese would be advantageous as the incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate with Japan Head Office
