Our client is an MNC company in the Environmental industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an EHS Officer to join their EHS team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Craft/Execute comprehensive frameworks and guidelines for Fire Safety and EHS policies, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Promote/Drive regulatory compliance from relevant authorities, championing safety and EHS practices
• Provide technical and safety advice in areas for engineering, process designs, and procurement
• Foster a safety-conscious culture among both internal/external stakeholders, proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards with the aim of preventing injuries/illnesses
• Organize events/sessions to raise awareness about fire safety and EHS policies
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, or other relevant field of studies
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant industry
• Possesses a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer
• Fire Safety Manager Certificate/Qualification will be an added advantage

Requirements:

- Proficiency in both written and spoken English (fluency in Korean is an advantage)

- At least one year of experience in payroll and tax clearance

- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies in Singapore

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP ERP
(or possesses the proficiency and ability to learn internal HRIS / technical systems)

Responsibilities:

- Prepare paperwork, scheduling and facilitation of smooth onboarding and offboarding process

- Perform full payroll process and make necessary tax filings in a timely manner

- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and any other relevant policies, schemes etc.

- Assist in swift updates of personnel database, and any other related information within the internal HR system

- Greet office visitors, and oversee telephone services, email correspondence, mail distribution

- Maintain office supplies inventory and office efficiency by arranging repairs

- Ensure timely payment and manage budget for any office related expenses

- Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner

- Provide professional level of guidance and HR advisory service to employees in relation to absenceand welfare benefit, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters

- Assist in ensuring legal compliance of regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required

- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
