Job Overview:
As a Audio Visual Project Manager you will be responsible:
Responsibilities:
· Generate functional line drawing for audio, video, control, and communication systems
· Extensive knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, control, and networking.
· Work closely with installation team for installation.
· Proactively assist & manage change orders and processing.
· Effectively coordinate with client and project team to ensure system is install accordingly to designed system on project details on site
· Continuous education on design practices and new product knowledge
· Attend sales meetings and job walks
· Possess strong communication skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
· Be successful in building relationships with clients and possess a strong customer service attitude. Feel interested, confidence, and creditability in the solutions being presented.
· Assist the installation team with the design and development of high-end audio-visual collaboration solutions unitizing the latest control system, video conferencing, unified communications, and video streaming solutions.
· Respond to sales team/clients for system designs, and schematics.
· Working knowledge and design experience with Unified Communications systems as well as video streaming and video conferencing solutions are required.
· Seek opportunities to propose value-added solutions across company’s required timescale.
· Remain actively involved with client through the project lifecycle
· Maintain up to the minute knowledge of products and solutions in the Audio-visual marketplace.
· Proactively update Audio Visual, Sales and Management team on latest solutions.
· Develop and maintain positive relationship with manufacturers
· Involve System configuration, Testing & Commissioning of company solutions.
· Studying solutions/assisting in-house AV Designers and Engineers from different manufacturers like Samsung, BOSE, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Logitech, etc to implement fully integrated solutions for clients.
· Any Ad-hoc job assigned by the company.
Professional Skills & Personal Capabilities:
· Experience with technical sales and installation procedures for colleges, universities, corporate, enterprises, and government customers.
· Knowledge of current technology and trends in the audio-visual field.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the audio-visual industry
· Minimum of 1 years’ experience in engineering & design
· Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Education
· Any educational level with strong AV or AVL experience and knowledge. Diploma and Bachelor Degree in the related field are preferred.
