OVERVIEW

The role of an Administrative & Operations Manager in school is to play a key role in assisting the school leaders in finance, human resource management, estate management and general administration of the school. Responsibilities

1. Financial Administration- to assist the School Principal in financial administration of the school. This includes budgeting process, financial control in the expenditure of allocated funds. It entails the following:

Budgeting Process

- Provide input for general and administrative expenses during budgeting exercise;

- Collate budget inputs from all assigned teachers and staff in charge of programmes and school activities.

- Participate in discussion in budget allocation prior to submission to management.

Financial Control in Allocated Funds

- Assist School Principal in monitoring and control of the school budget and grants from MOE, NCSS, Tote Board and any other funding body.

- Prepare financial submissions required by MOE, NCSS or any funding body.

Other Financial Duties

- Supervising the collection of school fees and managing arrears.

- Assisting School Principal in answering audit queries.

2. Procurement - to assist in procurement of goods and services in the school.
