Operations Manager is instrumental in bringing support and growth in the business and has a significant influence in motivating team spirit and retail excellence among the team. Responsible for day-to-day store effective operations, including sales staff management, product/inventory management, retail/customer experience excellence and sales performance monitoring. Job Responsibilities:

1. Operations and Boutique(s) Management

• Responsible for supporting the boutique(s) to ensure smooth daily operations, boutique in-store excellence, operational administrative responsibilities and effective planning to achieved corporate sales objectives and targets.
• Responsible and work closely with boutique/sales managers to uphold excellent customer and boutique service standards, including store environment, visual merchandising displays and sales/product presentation process.
• To facilitate all marketing, events and promotional activities.

• Enforce compliance with policies and procedures.

2. Business Planning and Development

3. Team/People Management

• Identify and plan sales team training needs and requirements.
• Clearly communicate and disseminate corporate objectives, action plan and necessary information to the retail team for proper execution.

Requirements:

Job scope

• Assist in the daily planning and deployment of Officers.

Meranti Power Pte. Ltd., a fully owned subsidiary of Energy Market Authority, is establishing an operations team to operate two open cycle gas turbines and the associated auxiliaries and ancillary equipment of the power generation station.

We are inviting applicants for the positions of Technical Officer (Operations) who shall report to the Shift Charge Engineer (SCE)/Assistant Shift Charge Engineer (ASCE) (Operations) and be responsible for supporting him in the day to day operations of the power station/plants.

As a member of the operations team, you will be assigned to oversee the execution and coordination of plant related works. You will operate the plant in a safe, efficient and timely manner in accordance with established guidelines and to meet output requirements; performing trouble-shooting on the plant and its associated auxiliary and ancillary equipment; evaluating and recommending plant and equipment process improvements to achieve maximum availability, reliability and efficiency.

The Technical Officer shall support the Operations team in the following:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper and efficient operation of gas turbine, generator and its auxiliary systems and ancillary systems as assigned by SCE/ASCE in-charge.
• Support operation and maintenance engineers in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of plant defects and outages.
• Prepare, maintain and control all records as required.
• Assist in the preparation, certification and review of all management systems, e.g.ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc annually and provide support to the auditing parties wherever necessary, including internal & external auditors, to rectify non compliances and/or to follow up on improvement items identified during audit.
• Raise work orders, carry out isolation/de-isolation works to facilitate the issuance of Permits-to-Work to maintenance departments or their subcontractors in accordance to existing regulatory requirements.
• Carry out routine plant inspections and tests during shift duty.

Requirements:

• Education in Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ operation experience in a power plant or related industries. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
