5) Others

- Prepare the IRAS S45 withholding tax form for overseas claims payments and journal.

- Prepare month end related journals to claims,premium refund, clawback vouchers transactions,transfer pricing journals and invoices.

- Prepare monthly DAIH balance sheet schedule and quarterly Hiscox BMA reporting.

- Daily maintenance of the Finance/Refund mailbox.

- Maintain up-to-date processes, workflows, and SOPs, ensuring adherence with processes and controls.

- Support year-end financial audit schedules and any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will work with stakeholders in Operations, Policy, legal, Process and Product teams to review and enforce on content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, improve the overall support experience for South Asia Region, as well as solve enforcement issues across a wide range of Meta markets.

The Market Specialist will be part of a data-driven analysis culture that works to protect our communities by enforcing on and will also help scale our operations by optimizing and automating processes, solving challenging problems and, most importantly, helping to prevent them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of the SEO South Asia team, enforcing on paid and organic (non-paid/user) content during a crisis response within the South Asia region while specifically representing the Bengali markets
• Work as part of an on-call operational structure to enforce on critical content, particularly in response to Government, Regulatory and Trusted Partner escalations, within SEO Regions with a higher focus on South Asia.
• Draw upon linguistic and cultural expertise in South Asia's Bengali market, to identify crucial risk signals and gain valuable content insights that can help address complex operational and risk-related issues present in both advertisements and user-generated content across the region.
• Use a combination of market knowledge and operational expertise to support new policy and product initiatives/launches in South Asia Bengali markets and the broader South Asia Region.

• Support enforcement efforts on agnostic and paid content that originates from multiple sources globally, where language expertise is not required.
• Support enforcement efforts identifying integrity risks to our local and regional advertising business and enforce on these risks. Support region wide programs of work supporting peak season buying initiatives, protecting advertisers, businesses and removing friction in the ad delivery process.

About the Role

Health, Safety, Environmental and Social (HSES) management is a strategic priority for PIDG, and we are seeking to strengthen the Impact team through the recruitment of a HSES Advisor.

The HSES Advisor is expected to support the implementation of the PIDG HSES risk management framework (and development arm HSES risk management processes as applicable) primarily for investments in the portfolio of our project development arm in Asia (InfraCo Asia).

The appointed candidate should support the Impact team in the implementation of the HSES risk management framework holistically across all HSES-related subject matters.

The appointed candidate will be based out of the PIDG Asia regional office in Singapore. Some travel will be expected between the PIDG offices and to project sites.

Main Responsibilities

Implement the PIDG Group HSES risk management framework:

• For investments in Asia, work with PIDG HSES to implement the PIDG HSES risk management framework (and development arm HSES risk management processes, as applicable) across the investment lifecycle, including:

1. Screen projects for HSES risk
2. Support HSES due diligence, and/or contributing to, and reviewing HSES due diligence reports prepared by external consultants
3. Develop/Input to Environmental and Social Action Plans (ESAP).
4. Provide input into Impact clinics and investment committee papers.
5. Provide advice and guidance on the incorporation of HSES recommendations in project documentation and agreements (as appropriate).
6. Undertake HSES monitoring and assurance of projects.
7. Undertake project exit / post investment review (PIR).

• In collaboration with the HSES Manager, manage the Asian portfolio investments’ HSES governance over the duration of the investment, including:

1. Support engagement with clients to discuss HSES issues.
2. Review of project related HSES documentation (ESHIA, ESMP, etc.).
3. Support the development and implementation of project HSES management systems.
4. Undertake periodic HSES monitoring and assurance visits to projects, review HSES performance reports and recommend changes for continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities for adding HSES management value in a project (working with PIDG HSES and PIDG Technical Assistance team to mobilize technical and financial support for projects as needed).

Contribute to PIDG Impact team:

• Contribute to continuous development of PIDG Impact team as a centre of excellence in infrastructure investment.
• Actively engage with PIDG Impact team at group-wide meetings.

Qualifications and education requirements

• An undergraduate degree in the environmental management, science, social sciences, engineering, or other related discipline is essential. Experience in, or knowledge of, risk assessment, development of environmental and social policies/standards, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment or management of environmental and social impacts.

Skills and Experience

• At least five (5) years’ work experience in a related field (relevant sector, HSES and / or sustainability etc), preferably within HSES consulting, development finance or private equity / the wider investment industry.
• Good understanding of the development/implementation of HSES management systems.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects (preferably in the renewable energy, water supply, waste management, logistics and/or agriculture supporting infrastructure sectors) is strongly preferred.
• A good understanding of the interpretation and application of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards.
• Ability to travel frequently across South Asia and Southeast Asia.
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Knowledge in other languages is highly desirable.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritise workload with a range of deliverables for a variety of stakeholders.
