· Lead the qualification of new part from new supplier with Project buyer. Work with Quality Assurance to qualify the new supplier when required.

· Execute design according to customer requirements and to finish the jobs within given schedule and budget.

· Review and confirm technical specification with customer.

· Develop detail & assembly drawing according to Sys-Mac drafting standard.

· Designer to draw schematic diagrams for Assembly.

· Loading drawings and the files into in-house manufacturing share drive for their retrieval.

· Print drawings to verify the correctness before handling to Admin Assistant to route to in-house manufacturing to produce the parts.

· Prepare Bill of Material (BOM).

· Request PDA from planner and prepare Material Requirement List (MRL) of the project and release to Planner/Project Engineer.

· Liaise with respective Control Engineer for the requirements of electrical circuit and software development of the project.

· Liaise with the Project Engineer and assist on execution of assembly and buyoff of the project as and when necessary.

· Initiate Change Notice Request (NCR) for change of part design.

· Report progress and project related issues to the Sr. Design Engineer.

· Prepare of Machine Operation Manual & Maintenance (Mechanical) for the project.

· Maintain proper project documentation.

· Other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Min. 4 years relevant experience in Automation machine design.

· Ability to create and interpret mechanical drawings, carry out design calculations and component detailed drawings.

· Able to perform assigned tasks independently or through team activities.

· Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized.

· Knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software.

· Good team player.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with project management team as sourcing representative for new projects, interpret drawings, source, buy and manage parts (deliveries, non-conformance) for new project.
- Be the main contact between supplier and NTS Engineering/ project team on technical queries that may arise during request for quotation stage. compiles technical queries and lead discussions to address them.
- Ensure the price and lead time targets of the new projects are being met.
- Ensure the On Time Delivery of materials for new project based on build plan
- Involved in the ECO routing approval to ensures changes are implemented on time by supporting the information's like price and Leadtime during ECO digestion.

You will be part of an IT infrastructure Support Team managing mission critical high-tech biometrics devices at critical locations of significant national interest. You will be trained to manage, troubleshoot and maintain the operational availability of these devices and to remedy faults to prevent operational down-time.

As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following :-

• Assist the project teams with setting up, installing, and configuring operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices for PCs/Workstations.
• Provide first level on-site IT support to end-users on a 24x7 rotational shift, including weekends and holidays.
• The successful applicants should be prepared to be deployed primarily at Tuas Checkpoint. The successful applicant could be deployed to Tuas checkpoint in future on a rotational basis.
• Provide findings and timely status update to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health check and inventory check on system.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC/peripheral devices and providing application maintenance support is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required.

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.
• Certification in Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma, ideally with a focus/specialization in IT.
