Expectations of a PR Intern

• Work closely with all teams to facilitate basic account service requirements
• Assist in local insight generation and pitch development
• Liaison with 3rd party suppliers
• Research & analysis reports
• Liaison with media
• Update & maintenance of media database
• Press releases/media invites
• Brainstorming of creative ideas for events
• Assist in organizing events, press conferences & product launches

The internship aims to offer practical working experience in the day-to-day management of existing accounts and development of new business.

• Assistance in the compilation of media coverage reports with PR value calculation and analysis
• Collation of relevant industry news, trends and insights for each client
• Assistance with research and idea generation to match existing or potential client needs
• Maintenance of the master media contact list
• Handling of general enquiries
• Onsite support at client events
• Simple copy writing, transcript writing from audio files, translation (if bilingual)
• Looking for candidates who can commit to a full-time internship

JOB SCOPE

• Process customer orders/enquiries daily by email, fax, or phone call.
• Close follow up with business units on fixed / ad-hoc billing; generating monthly report and posting of invoices.
• Coordinate and correspond to customer/sales on the sales order status.
• Coordinate with internal department to ensure smooth deliveries and resolve arising issues in a timely manner.
• Handle export shipments for intercompany and direct overseas customers.
• Prepare the shipping document for Singapore and export shipment.
• Support in investigations of internal / external complains to identify root cause and provide solutions.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Logistics knowledge and understanding import/export preferred.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills that can complete tasks with proper time management.
• Proficient in SAP
