ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications Strategy

● Develop and implement effective communication strategies to:

○ Engage the congregation and neighbourhood

○ Expand the church’s online presence

● Support the launch of any publicity or digital campaigns for church-wide events/programmes and other projects as needed

● Evaluate and track engagement across all communications channels, providing regular reporting

Content Development

● Work with Pastors & Communications Committee to:

○ Curate content and communicate church messages throughout the year

○ Plan and maintain content calendar, leveraging online and offline channels

● Manage the design, copywriting, editing and production of all church communications, including the bulletin, service slides, notice boards, website, social media, brochures, newsletters, videos, etc. in both English and Mandarin

● Work with Worship & Music Ministry to livestream services and archive service recordings

● Ensure consistency of messaging and tone across touchpoints

Channel Management

● Manage the church’s communications channels, including preparing and maintaining up-to-date content across:

○ Church website

○ Church social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.)

○ Google Maps

○ Video sharing platforms

○ Email newsletter

○ Any other future new channels

General Duties

● Work closely with Communications Committee Chairperson on other projects as assigned

● Assist with church administrative work when required by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

● Degree/Diploma in Communications, Media or related disciplines with at least 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or other related fields

● Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital media communications tools (e.g. Canva, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube, Slideshare, etc.)

● Working knowledge of relevant technologies and current trends in digital/social media, ability to use ProPresenter, Wix or Squarespace is a plus

● Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand Mandarin will be beneficial

● Self-motivated, resourceful and meticulous, a proactive and quick learner with the ability to work well in teams

● Ability to work half-day on Sundays (i.e. off day is during the week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Social Media and Content Writer Specialist to join the Marketing & Communications team.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, excellent writer, and adept researcher who can develop engaging content across various platforms. You will work closely with colleagues in the Marketing & Communications team and Programming & Producing teams to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Research & Ideation

• Conduct research to generate ideas and conceptualise creative content for various target audiences across platforms, including social media, video, and e-mailers, to achieve communications, marketing, and festival / programme objectives.
• Develop good knowledge of organisation / festival / programme brand knowledge, positioning and tone of voice.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing to enhance the editorial calendar.

Content Creation and Editing

• Write clear, concise, and engaging content for our website, social media, e-mailers and other marketing channels.
• Identify, curate and develop content from festivals and programme assets.
• Creating an editorial calendar for timely and strategic content ideas throughout the year.
• Conduct interviews, attend rehearsals, etc., for content generation.
• Craft stories that resonate with various target audiences and encourage engagement.
• Distil complex concepts into easily understood content.
• Create and schedule posts for multiple social media channels.
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to the festival / programme brand style and tone of voice.

Monitoring and Management

• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
• Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor content activities of other arts centres and festivals websites.
• Monitor and analyse online statistics, including social ad web traffic, user demographics, and content performance, to inform content strategy.
• Manage and complete multiple content writing projects on time.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications and Programming & Producing teams to develop content strategies supporting marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment and consistency in messaging, branding, and style across social media and digital platforms.
• Develop content distribution and promotion efforts to increase brand visibility and drive traffic across social media and digital platforms.
• Strategize content creation and distribution for respective social media platforms based on target audience.

Requirements:

Education

• Degree in English, Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in arts/events related industry such as events marketing, arts marketing, digital marketing and social media
• General knowledge of the arts is important
• Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Social Media Manager/ Specialist or similar role
• Strong writing and editing skills to produce high-quality content
• Familiarity with various writing styles and media types
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and other digital tools
• Experience candidate will be considered for a higher appointment

Skills

• Excellent research skills and the ability to gather, analyse and present information effectively
• Highly articulate and versatile writer with excellent editorial skills; solid command of English with the ability to create compelling headlines that capture attention
• Good knowledge of respective social media platforms, their uses and functions and target audience

Do note that this is a 2-year contract role.

• Support the Head of PR & Communications with executing PR and Communications strategy for the PAP region (Product and Corporate) based on guidelines from Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (“PAG”) 
• Support all PR and Communications activities within the PAP region, with an additional focus on executing media-related activities for Singapore’s importer/ retail operations (Product and Corporate) based on guidelines from PAG
• Contribute to ESG-related communications for internal and external stakeholders across the region
• Help manage localised Organic Social Media communication strategy and content for the PAP region, focusing on Singapore importer/retail operations
• Assist in the regionalisation of PAG communications content and assets, for media distribution and amplification in the PAP region
• Coordinate press cars usage in tandem with PR agency and editorial content on relevant channels in the PAP region, and support press assets (press releases, press kits, visuals) creation

Public Relations

Finance & Accounting Officer:

· Report to Head of Finance & Accounting

· Assist in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities

· Process staff claims and payments for daily operating expenses

· Support in the preparation of accounting schedules such as Fixed Asset Register and Listing of OPEX, preparation and posting of journal entries
