Introduction

Task/Job description

We are looking for a committed team player responsible for the coordination and development of science communication activities of the FRS and FHT programmes. You will work closely with the FRS and FHT Management team, as well as with researchers from SEC, ETH Zurich, and local partner institutions in Singapore.

Your responsibilities will include the following tasks (list not exhaustive):

Developing Science Communication Strategies

· Create comprehensive communication strategies for FRS and FHT aligned with the programme’s goals and objectives.

· Define key messages and positioning to effectively convey the programme’s brand identity to interested non-experts and the general public and increase visibility in the scientific community,

Media Relations

· Build and maintain relationships with key industry journalists, influencers, and media outlets (particularly scientific media) in close collaboration with SEC Communications

Content Creation

· Generate compelling and relevant content for the FRS and FHT, including, articles, impact stories, newsletters, reports and social media.

As a Media Manager for our technology client, you will be responsible for collaborating with APAC-based and regional media agencies and internal stakeholders to manage ongoing media projects and campaigns across key performance and direct response programmes. 

The person will be the day-to-day consultant on media strategy for the programs mentioned above, including but not limited to channel, audience and ad format strategy, best practices and optimisation to attain program efficiency goals.

Role:

The Asia Pacific Leaders Malaria Alliance (APLMA), is an alliance of Heads of Government committed to eliminate malaria and other communicable diseases in Asia Pacific, with a focus on the most vulnerable communities.

Through committed leadership and a specific investment in effective tools designed to defeat malaria for good, countries in the Asia Pacific region have halved the number of malaria cases and deaths in less than 15 years. This fight against malaria in Asia Pacific has been positive but is far from over. If we are to see a true eradication of malaria in the region, a revitalised commitment from all stakeholders, and especially national governments is needed.

Manage the media billing processes which involves,

• Co-coordinating with media planning teams on billing instructions
