Overview

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, the Analyst/Assistant Manager will be a core team member helping to scope and execute a variety of strategic corporate activities (eg. M&A, partnerships, organizational excellence initiatives, etc.) to achieve key business objectives. The incumbent will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management and be intimate with the high-level perspectives involved in running a global hospitality company.

Job Description

• Develop financial models, feasibility studies, valuation analysis, scenario analysis to support decision making
• Assist with transactional activities such as deal due diligence, negotiations on key terms and structuring, etc.
• Assist with the preparation of recommendation proposals, studies, and presentations for senior management.
• Assist with managing strategic initiatives throughout the entire project cycle
• Liaise with and manage relationships with relevant internal stakeholders as well as external advisers such as financial advisers, tax advisers, real estate consultancy firms, law firms, brokers, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from a reputable university in Business, Finance, Real Estate or other relevant disciplines

About This Role:-

This a technical individual contributor role and you will be part of a dynamic team in the Technology Department. As a senior IT security engineer, you should have the relevant skills and experience in handling the offensive, defensive, and operational aspects of security. In the course of work, you will also gain deeper exposure to the world of digital assets, Web 3.0, blockchain technologies, smart contracts and exchange trading systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead and manage vendors in the implementation of IT security architecture, platforms, and solutions

About This Role:-

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Services, you will assist in designing, implementing, and managing high-performance trading networks and datacentre infrastructure for the digital exchange. Your role involves supporting network configurations, overseeing installations, and maintaining and upgrading systems. Additionally, you will assist in providing innovative solutions to meet business challenges and comply with MAS TRM guidelines, while also supporting office networks, including WAN/LAN technologies, security, and wireless connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in architecting, administering, and optimizing network infrastructure with a focus on ultra-low latency within a Colocation Data Centre.
• Work with Extranet service providers to support market data delivery and order execution, ensuring a fair and transparent market.
• Assist in the establishment of Direct Connect between Colocation Data Centre and AWS.
• Contribute to architecting, administering, and optimizing networks within AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Manage Cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization (preferred).
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, providing support as needed.
• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Support the deployment and management of server and storage solutions to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Document IT infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Identify and report potential risks.
• Participate in securing the network and IT infrastructure through best practices.
• Explore and adopt automation and innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, IT Security, and Application teams to contribute to the delivery of secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure to support a 24x7 operational environment.

Qualifications And Experience

Education

• Diploma or Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline

Experience and Skill

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in network engineering, system administration, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates without experience welcome to apply
• Basic understanding of market venues and exchange protocols (FIX, Binary protocols).
• Possesses familiarity with low latency network technologies, including Multicast (IGMP, PIM), L2/L3, WAN Design, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE is preferred.
• Understanding of server, storage, and virtualization technologies is preferred.
• Demonstrates familiarity with cloud and IT infrastructure components, and best practices is preferred.
• Ability to document configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic and challenging IT environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Investigate existing Linux distros, with focus on distros targeted at gaming to understand their strengths and weaknesses

• Analyse hardware requirements and constraints on a portable gaming platform, and how it relates to the customization of the distro

• Collaborate with R&D team to suggest packages and optimizations for a Linux distribution to suit the project's design goal and requirements

• Implement performance optimization and usability tweaks to increase compatibility with more games

• Document the design and development process, decisions, configurations

• Conduct lots of testing, having serious fun gaming, in the process iron out compatibility issues, and optimize game performance

Pre-Requisites :

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

• Familiarity or interest in open-source development process

• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, or Shell
