What You Will Achieve

How You Will Achieve It

• Organize, manage and submit process safety documentation to the respective regulatory agency.
• Comply with the regulatory requirements of “safety case” report.
• Develop and review Major Accident Prevention Policy and Health & Safety Management System with guidance from Process Safety Manager or EHS Team Leader.
• Manage and consolidate technical assessments on predictive, process safety, mechanical engineering, electrical control & instrumentation, human factors, emergency response and ALARP.
• Plan and prepare for compliance audits according to the requirements of all applicable codes of practice, local Major Hazard Installations (MHI) regulations and Global EHS Standards. 
• Work with minimal guidance from Process Safety Manager or in partnership to review the work processes of process safety hazard identification & risk controls, major accident scenarios, process hazard analysis, incident investigation and management of change, and identify areas for improvement to enhance the robustness of these processes.
• Maintain and upkeep documentation and records of PSM programs and/or safety case in the state of readiness for compliance inspection and/or audits.
• Consolidate and develop process safety awareness training package. In partnership with Process Safety Manager to conduct the training for colleagues onsite.
• Organize and facilitate PHA (HAZOP Studies) and PHA revalidation and complete all relevant in a timely manner

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor degree in chemicals / process safety / mechanical / environmental engineering or science (pharmaceutical or chemistry).
• Technical know-how in process safety engineering, QRA, or PHA is essential
• 5 Years relevant experience within the pharmaceutical API or related industries; incumbent as technical role with good knowledge of dispersion modelling, QRA is advantageous.
• Good knowledge and application of stipulated codes of practice (e.g.ANSI/ISA-18.2-2009, SS506 part 3, API510, Singapore Fire Safety Act)  is advantageous

[What you will be working on]

The Aviation Innovation Research (AIR) Lab

The joint CAAS-Thales innovation lab known as ‘AIR Lab’ started to operate on 1st November 2019 with the objective to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) of advanced and open technologies for future Air Traffic Management (ATM). Currently, the joint lab employs a team of 40 Thales engineers and 12 CAAS engineers and air traffic controllers operating in a vibrant ecosystem involving a number of Singaporean SMEs and start-ups, as well as key research institutes.

Thales engineers include 10 domain experts – with more than 10 years of experience – coming from Thales ATM centres of competence in France and Australia. These experts are coaching both the local Thales and CAAS engineers. 

The POCs and MVPs are co-developed with the CAAS engineers who have access to the same development tools and environment used by the Thales Engineers (provided by the Singapore branch of Thales Digital Factory). The POCs and MVPs are defined in collaboration with CAAS air traffic controllers through iterative workshops.

AIR Lab research outcomes will feed the next generation of products, including clearly disruptive outcomes addressing Safety and Security for Open architecture, data driven ATM Twin, Green Aviation, Trajectory Based Operations. 

As the AIR Lab was recently extended for another 3 years, 4 work streams are now embarked: 

Regional Experimental Platform, FF-ICE/TBO, Green Aviation, Future-proof Interoperable Platform-Agnostic, Safe and Secure Platforms.

AIR Lab 2.0 continues to benefit from research conducted in Europe through new architecture research which, among other objectives, aims at meeting much stricter safety standards for ground ATM systems in development by the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA). This breakthrough architecture study is co-funded by the French government (CASSIOPEA).

Regional Experimental Platform (REP) has been initiated in AIR Lab 1.0, and has the view to addressing regional needs in coordination with the SESAR 3 activities conducted in AMS France.

The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) is an intergovernmental organization with the main objective of improving the transparency of the world rubber markets and strengthening international cooperation on rubber issues. The IRSG is recognized as an international body through the negotiation of a headquarters agreement with the Government of the United Kingdom in 1978. (A) JOB DESCRIPTION

The position reports directly to the Secretary General. The Software Development (SD) and Information Technology (IT) Manager supports the IRSG secretariat’s IT infrastructure and is responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the IT network, computers, and other digital systems while supporting and enhancing the IRSG's cybersecurity posture. The IT Manager is the head of the Software Development (SD) and Information Technology Unit and is responsible for IT support delivery as well as cyber risk management strategy and planning. (B) SUMMARY OF KEY FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Within the limits of delegated authority, the software development and information technology manager is responsible for the following duties:

§ Day-to-day monitoring, technical support, and planning of all aspects of the IT network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/wireless network).

§ planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading the overall IT efficiency of the secretariat and the cyber security measures for the protection and efficient operation of IRSG data, systems, and networks.

§ ensuring that the IRSG data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls and responding to all system and/or network security breaches, including mitigating any damages.

Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SANS, GIAC, CEH, etc. will be an added advantage.

A minimum of one to three years of progressively responsible experience in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer information technology systems or related areas is required.

Experience in the administration of IT infrastructure, including network servers, web servers, virtual private networks, firewalls, and wireless services, is required, as is the ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network communication systems. • Liaise with contractors, consultant, design team, client etc
• Manage project resources availability to meet project needs e.g manpower, build components, equipment
• Monitor and control project cost

Job Requirements :

Job Summary

Thales is seeking suitable candidate for the position of Engineer (System Security).

You will be looking after the governance of the infrastructure and systems for mission-critical Command and Control (C2) system that Thales Solutions Asia (TSA) have developed for government agency. You will be part of a team to manage the security of system, to ensure the system adhere to the security policies, and is well protected from any threats, risks or exploits.

Job Duties

Provide security expertise and management services to support Authority in activities such as:

• Internal / external audits (IM8, Cybersecurity, etc)
• Policies compliance (IM8, Cybersecurity, etc), work with vendor on:
• Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP):
• ICT/Threat Risk Assessments (TRA)
• Monthly reviews of privileged accounts and non-privileged account, disable inactive accounts
• Seek security waivers (IM8, Cybersecurity Act, Circulars etc)
• Circulate security notifications/alerts to vendors and ensure status updates too all stakeholders including cybersecurity centre
• Security monitoring/tracking:

-     Monitor alerts from SOC

-     Update stakeholders regarding SOC alerts

-     Review compliance reports with vendors to ensure that system is compliant

-     Manage, track and update any security incidents/ issues to all stakeholders

-     Review Incident Report (if any)

• Patching:

-     Ensure patches are tested and verified before seeking approval for patching downtime

-     Communicate system downtime to all stakeholders

-     Ensure system availability after patching is completed

• Obsolescence management for software licenses, hardware, operating systems and certificates
• Security enhancement/ integration
• Support the submission of security clearance for related vendors
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Job Requirements

• Working hours will be 0830 hrs to 1800 hrs (for Monday to Thursday) and 0830 hrs to 1730hrs (for Friday), excluding weekends and Public Holidays
• Outside of working hours, to provide online support via emails and group chats when required based on the priority and severity of issues related to the system
• Able to cope in a highly pressured fast-paced environment
• Prior working experience in cyber security and vulnerability management is preferred
• Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls
• Able to understand security posture of systems
• Prior working experience in Project Management is a plus point
• Able to understand the system and software architecture, and user operations environment
• Willingness to pick up any new technologies

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity/ InfoSec/ Information Technology / Information Systems / Business IT or its equivalent

Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other security certifications

Experience

Minimally 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and supporting mission critical systems with very stringent SLA e.g. 99.9%

Well-versed in cybersecurity best practices and establishing of its policies

Well-versed in IT Service Management (ITSM) standards, processes, guidelines and best practices
