Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Communication Engineering or related discipline.
• Cad Software knowledge is an added advantage.

As an Associate Test Engineer with a world leader in product testing and certification, you will be instrumental to conducting independent electrical safety testing to achieving compliance with relevant international or national directives, regulations and standards before consumer-safe products go to market within the Electrical & Electronic Service Line of Product Services Division.You will be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of experts as we drive the development of new services and future businesses in the age of digital transformation such as smart home technologies, wearable devices, personal robotics to name a few.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate tests on products such as consumer information technology, Audio Visual and Home Appliances products for compliance to various safety and performance international standards
• Prepare test and inspection reports
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment

Key Requirements:

• Minimum a NITEC / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or its equivalent
• Candidates with relevant working experience involving IT equipment and home appliance evaluation will be an added advantage
• Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
• Knowledge of IEC standards will be a plus, namely IEC 62368-1 and IEC 60335-1
  

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager with project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Support Project Manager in planning and coordinating construction works according to the master and detailed work programs.
• Guide junior Engineers in daily work execution.
• Prepare and submit project documents such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, and reports.
• Supervise construction to ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, quality standards, and ESH practices.
• Coordinate and liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on all project matters.
• Facilitate site inspections, submit technical reports, and maintain records. Assist in verifying progress payments and contractor claims.
• Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to monitor project progress.
• Establish and maintain a document control system for design drawings and project documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board.
• At least 3 years of working experience in construction and infrastructure industry (LTA, Roadwaorks, MRT Projects).

• Ensure all technical drawings conform to the latest BCA codes and regulations
• Supervise site progress and ensure timely delivery of contract works from subcontractors/suppliers

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

About the Role:

Supervise and coordinate the overall execution of projects assigned to ensure smooth delivery and handover to customers. This includes ensuring customers' terms of order, meet delivery dates and installation completed with quality and safety standards as required by customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect toquality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy required by Consultant/Owner withcompliance to Workplace Safety Health (WSH) and prevent any Liquidated Damage (LD) imposed by Consultant/Owner
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Design (Mechanical, Structure and Electrical), Technical (Project, Installation and Production) and Material Department to ensure theeffectiveness of management and execution of projects
• Maintain proper execution documentations and minutes of meeting to avoid claimsand counter claims for delays or proof for extension of time with conduct periodiccheck on project filling and database to ensure it is properly file and relevantdocument are posted for easy reference
• Develop and maintain good working relationship with the various parties at site thatfoster good client ties in the execution progress in order scope of works is notaffected
• Ensure own installation team and Sub-Contractors perform and comply withpredefined quality scope of work and EHS standard
• Communicate with Main Contractor/Consultant/Owner regarding project scheduleand site facilities while manage customer changes throughout project and ensuredeviations are commercially addressed ensuring configured documents aremaintained at all times
• Monitor project cash flow and progressive payment claims are timely submitted. (Work In Progress (WIP)), versus Amount Bill in Down payment (DP) and Progress (PG),management of project budget, cash flow projection, actual cash flow and prepareproject cost variance when necessary for reporting to Management
• Review and approve WSH documents including Risk Assessment, Method ofStatement, Safe Work Procedure, Fall Prevention Plan, Lifting Plan, SafetyManagement System, Permit to Work and ensure the work is carry out safely

Job requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant
• 2 years of relevant experience in Industrial Products project management including 1year of Supervisory experience
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) fundamental & experience

· Provide expert technical support to various offshore subsea construction, transportation and installation

projects in the oil and gas and renewables sectors in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide specialist technical input to EIA studies and/or coastal engineering/modelling studies

· Assist the Project Manager (technical and financial) of ongoing major marine and terrestrial EIA projects and coastal engineering/modelling studies.

· Assist in preparation of technical and financial proposals to secure new projects

· Performs QA within own field of expertise

· Maintains project schedule and reports project status

Education and Experience

· Postgraduate degree in a relevant environmental discipline and/or civil/coastal engineering

· 3 to 5 years experience undertaking marine and terrestrial EIA studies, and/or coastal engineering and/or numerical modelling studies (particularly in tropical areas)

· Knowledge of sediment plume physics, especially relating to dredging and reclamation

· Experience with the MIKE by DHI suite of numerical models will be considered favorably

· Project management training course or proposal writing training course
