Job Description

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process from Purchase Request (PR) sourcing and negotiating to Purchasing Order (PO) issuance from local and overseas vendors
• Evaluate vendors’ quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial specifications required for the organization
• Handle daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on PO deliveries
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
• Assist the Procurement Manager with ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time and best prices to ensure that all criteria are met according to the organization’s requirements
• Monitor inventory stock movement to ensure optimal inventory holdings
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree in Procurement / Business Studies / Supply Chain
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Conducting and implementation of continuous improvement tools within the factory. Coordination of CI team activities (training, team formation, monitoring of progress, information sharing).
• Technical support for production including using industrial performance tools to ensure successful troubleshooting and debottlenecking of process flow related to equipment. Conduct on his own focused improvement projects, or coordinate and lead multi-functional teams to improve.
• Training, coaching and assessment for the factory and the local committees on GA practices
• Responsible to implement safety and environment practices in the workplace.

What will make you successful

• Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering or related fields
• 3 to 6 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role provides the opportunity for an individual with strong passion in pursuing a HR career.  The primary function is to support the Direct (Technicians) & Indirect (Engineers) levels Recruitment, Permit Processes and daily support to employee’s queries.  Further responsibilities in reporting, presentations, engagement projects will also be provided once the incumbent is well trained on the basics.

Participate in Orientation training, coach employees to seek for data in Prosoft, and address any queries employees has. The Key Performance Indicator is the successful addressing of all issues.

Always ensure critical decisions made such as termination, dismissal, are done with consultation from HR management team and the affected department heads. Job Description

• Assist and make ready the printing press including plating up and preparing the reelstand paste pattern.
• Carry out production run to produce single-colour and multi-colour printed products to specifications of proof or print sample
• Perform simple trouble-shooting and rectify minor printing faults
• Maintain printing machine in good working condition
