Executive Chef Responsibilities:

• Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.

Executive Chef Requirements:

• 4+ years of culinary education.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
• Proficient knowledge of human resources management.
• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.

To provide camera works, setup and camera operation in broadcast standard environment for all TV Production, OB and Studios events.

Job Description

• Ensure the camera system is set up according to the production plan which include the optical, electronic special effects and autocue system.
• Perform creative camera work and able to offer alternative angles for production needs whenever required on various operational modes (i.e Tracks, Tripods, or Handheld). Knowledge in Jibs, Underwater and Steady Camera.
• Work with stakeholders during production to ensure best visuals are captured i.e. camera position, techniques and angles of shots, and ability to problem solve on the spots to ensure output quality not compromised.
• Keep up to date with industry filming methods and equipment, receptive of innovating ways of filming.

Job Requirements

• Nitec in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Film Production.
• Good working knowledge of camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment.
• Preferably 3 years of related working experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Modulate and monitor audio for news and documentary production.
• Mix and balance for different situations and environment during recording and live events.
• Make immediate decision on choice of microphones, recorders, mounts, etc on location shoots.
• Advise producers and reporters on audio techniques and uses.
• Operate the second camera when required.
• Perform basic maintenance of audio equipment.
• Edit sequences using Adobe Premiere or other editing systems and send via FTP using broadband network or via satellite broadcast.
• Set up and operate satellite communication and transmission devices and equipment during outdoor production locally and overseas.
• Required to travel overseas for news and documentary assignment as and when required.
• Required to work in different environment and situations, e.g. disaster zones or high risk areas such as hospitals during epidemic outbreak.
• Required to drive company vehicles for outdoor shoot for news and documentary production.

LKCMedicine EArly Researcher Network (LEARN) will be hosting a 3-day international conference in December 2024 organized by PhD and postdoctoral students, who are part of the Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC) & Local Organizing Committee (LOC). The Senior Executive is responsible for providing secretariat support to the Conference committee who are tasked with organizing the international conference. He/She will provide support to the committee, organize meetings with stakeholders of the conference.

Responsibilities:

• Work with external vendors (i.e Professional Conference Organizer) to ensure that items are prepared accordingly

• Work with internal stakeholders for in-house equipment/logistics

• Update the SOC and LOC and attend the meetings to take note of the actionable items to be incorporated in the programme

• Conference Secretariat - Schedule and organize regular meetings of the Steering Committee to discuss high-level event decisions and strategies

Logistics Support 

• Source for an appealing event backdrop and stage setup to enhance the visual impact of the conference

• Arrange for AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, and screens

• Plan catering services for meals, snacks, and beverages

• Provide support and guidance to attendees, especially overseas participants, in obtaining visas if needed

• Hire professional event photographer and videographer to capture key moments and sessions of the conference

• Establish an invite list with inputs from the scientific committee, steering committee, communications team, and senior management

Requirements:

This is a 1 year temporary appointment.
