● Manage full set of accounts for the business and Japan holding company’s needs

● Lead and guide Accounts Team on daily operations (GL, AR, AP, intercompany balances, transactions

and cash-flow, staff’s claims reimbursements etc.)

● Provide business analysis, consolidation of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial results and support

production of yearly budgets and revenue forecast

● Monitor, assess and ensure timely and accurate transaction for closing of monthly/quarterly/ yearly

reporting of financial and management reports, as well as prepare financial reports for Japan HQ

● Review consolidation package done by subsidiary companies and report to Japan HQ

● Support communication with Japan HQ and subsidiary companies when required

● Review and support the accounts of subsidiary companies

● Reconcile, process and report all costing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) activities

● Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with operating standards, company rules & regulations and

statutory requirements

● Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory reports

● Maintain fixed assets processes and procedures (including disposal, verification and depreciation of

fixed assets etc.)

● Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary etc. on annual statutory

audit and tax matters

● Assist in management of transactions related to bonds and fixed deposit

● Handle J-SOX, internal control related queries and reporting required by Japan holding company

● Handle FRS116 accounting and review on new leases

● Handle Company’s tax reporting (GST, Corporate tax submission, withholding tax etc.)

● Liaise with HR regarding verification of payroll and CPF matters

● Liaise with respective business units to understand financial information needs in order to work out

efficient and effective solutions

● Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

● Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in full set of accounts is required

● Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in

Finance/Accountancy (candidates with CPA or CA certification will be a plus)

● Deliver accurate information for internal and external reporting

● Hands-on with sound knowledge in accounting and statutory rules and regulations

● IT savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Oracle NetSuite

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax

The Role :

• Deployment Managers are a key cog in the revenue generation engine of LR OneOcean, helping to realise new revenue as quickly as possible. Deployment

• Support with pre-sales activity as required to ensure the sale is optimised for deployment.
• Own each deployment project through all phases of scoping, requirements capture, planning, reporting and successful execution.

Knowledge Management

• Be an active member of the Deployment Knowledge Base, regionally and globally, helping to make the deployment process as efficient as possible.

Other

• Support product development activity, to ensure the product is optimised for deployment.
• Conduct CSAT surveys during listening points in the deployment and post deployment journey, to ensure customer satisfaction levels remain high.
• Support new releases with deployment testing.
• Provide cover for holidays for cluster / non-cluster roles.
• Travel within the APAC and overseas may be required and is considered an occasional feature of this role. Requests could be made at short notice.

Marketing and Business Development:

• Conduct market research to stay abreast of advancements and emerging trends in genomics and bioinformatics, using insights to inform service offerings and identify new revenue opportunities.
• Represent GeDaC at conferences, workshops, and networking events, showcasing the facility’s capabilities and building a strong client network.

Financial Management and Revenue Growth:

• Develop and manage the facility’s budget, monitoring revenue and expenditure to ensure financial sustainability.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients and vendors, setting pricing structures that reflect market value and service costs.
• Track service utilization and generate periodic performance reports, using data to drive business strategies and make informed decisions about resource allocation.

Product Development and Client Relations:

Qualifications

Job Description:

• Understand business direction and goals, align priorities and requirements with business teams and local markets
• Identify user pain points, conduct competitor analysis and identify current gaps in the overall Return Refund experiences provided by the platform
• Drive product solutions and strategies to align with business direction, resolve user pain points and provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly Return & Refund experience to both buyers and sellers
• Continuously seek ways to broaden the coverage of Return & Refund services, increase platform auto-judging capabilities and accuracy, reduce end-to-end resolution time of Return Refund request, control cost incurred by seller dispute and compensation, and improve overall buyer and seller sentiments
• Focus on exploring new AI strategies and building a stable AI platform to facilitate AI model integration, testing and iterations for the different return refund auto judging use cases and return refund buyer credibility evaluation
• Deep dive into operational workflows to understand the entire business ecosystems, develop effective tools or platforms to support local operations especially on Return & Refund judging and policy setups

Requirements:

Primary Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain SMO/COE, the Master Data Quality & Governance Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of master data and will be responsible for overseeing and implementing data governance strategies, policies, practices, and processes across the Asia Pacific region. This role is also responsible for collaborating with APAC business stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements and ensuring data quality standards, processes and procedures align with business objectives, and providing training and support to business stakeholders on data quality best practices.

Develop and Implement Data Governance Framework:

o Design and establish a comprehensive data governance framework across the Asia Pacific region.

o In partnership with Global Data Governance teams define data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and accurate data management practices.

o Collaborate with stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for the data governance initiatives.

Data Stewardship and Ownership:

o Establish data quality rules, monitor data compliance, and resolve data-related issues.

o Ensure data ownership and accountability by establishing data governance and execution roles and responsibilities.

o Drive continuous improvement by monitoring data governance performance and identifying opportunities for enhancement.

o Conduct regular data audits and assessments to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, privacy and legal to ensure alignment and compliance with data governance initiatives.

o Engage with global stakeholders to share best practices, leverage synergies, and contribute to the overall data governance strategy.

Training and Awareness:
