We seek a highly skilled and motivated HSEQ Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across our fleet of LNG vessels. Responsibilities
· Support the Head of HSEQ in Safety/ Marine matters of vessels, offices and contracted service functions.
· Maintain the SMS platform in compliance with governing Maritime rules and regulations.
· Support in Incident investigation, internal audits of vessels and safety campaigns.
· Monitor SMS change requests by users and, in cooperation with process owners, prepare procedure changes and implementation in SMS.
· Monitor legislative changes (IMO/Class/Flag), amend processes and procedures and publish in SMS.
· Focal point in coordinating and arranging Management Reviews.
· Provide SMS and HSEQ training to sea and shore staff as required, implement quality objectives in the fleet.
· Part of the emergency response team, develop & maintain business continuity plans.
· Support Crewing, Vetting and Technical department as required.
· Collating inspection, audit results and HSEQ performance data for trend analysis.
· Support Head of HSEQ to analyse performance data and drive performance improvements.
· Writing and publishing Circulars and Newsletters.
Working relationships
· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vessels to promote a proactive safety culture.
· Communicate with Flag, QI, Classification societies, Customers, and Agents.

Requirement
· Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or
· Bachelor’s degree in another discipline or
· Relevant certifications in Maritime or Health and Safety or equivalent would be advantageous, or
· 2yrs as HSEQ executive or
· 5yrs of relevant work experience within a ship management company.
· Knowledge of international HSEQ regulations and standards (e.g., ISM Code, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001
Job Specific skills
· Strong knowledge and application of marine legislation and OCIMF Vetting Regime.
· Audit and Investigation.
· Proficient in Microsoft.
· Good communication skills, Fluent in English, oral and written.
· Good multitasking & organizational skills.
