Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Oversee and manage the procurement of automotive parts, tools, and supplies. Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of all necessary inventory.
• Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to achieve favorable conditions.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock. Implement inventory management practices to reduce excess stock and avoid shortages.
• Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Analyze market trends to forecast pricing and supply conditions.
• Quality Assurance: Evaluate the quality of purchased products and services. Work closely with the repair team to ensure that all parts meet the required standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Languages: Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse range of suppliers and team members.
• Knowledge: Understanding of automotive parts and repair processes is advantageous. Familiarity with Singapore’s market conditions and regulatory environment is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Issue of PO and update in purchasing system
• Shipment co-ordination with vendor, customer and shipping agents for import and export with knowledge of Bill of Lading, permits and BCA approval
• Oversees stock control and support project materials delivery requirements
• Maintain good working relationships with new and existing key suppliers to manage delivery and product quality

• Min Diploma or its equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience, and preferable in the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry
• A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills

• Handle new outlet opening & operation requirement
• Update SOP when required and any ad-hoc project assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum diploma in any related discipline
• At least 2 year purchasing experience in hospitality/F&B industry
• Pro-active, meticulous and work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP (SAP will be an advantage)

Reporting to the Procurement team, you will assist and co-ordinate the team which includes:

• Provide administrative support to the procurement team.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and filed correctly.
• Reviewing of purchase orders and making sure that they are complete and accurate before approving them.
• Maintain procurement records and process invoice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to commit 5 days a week, office hours.
• Proficiency in SAP will be an advantage but not a must
