Role Purpose:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll, CPF and tax reporting’s as per local statutory guidelines.
• Provide human resource services in compensation & benefits, HR planning, HRIS, HR strategy as well as initiate & implement any global HR projects, guidelines and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

Payroll Management (80%)

• Manage and work closely with payroll vendor to ensure timely & accurate processing of monthly payroll, filing of statutory contributions &/or tax clearance as well as posting of general ledger within the stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain data accuracies and alignment between HRIS and Payroll Software.
• Liaise with internal & external auditors on headcount and payroll matters.
• Handle internal customers’ queries, disputes, appeals, feedback promptly in a professional manner.

Compensation and Benefits Management (10%)

• Review and improve the current process in providing solutions to support HRBPs and internal customers.
• Administer employee benefits including leave, medical records, insurance claims, flex-benefits program, employee relations and welfare matters.
• Complete salary and benefits surveys with statutory organizations &/or associations on quarterly basis.

HR Business Partnering (5%)

• Support Country HR Head and HRBPs in providing HR strategies/services and advice to business units that align with the organization’s strategy.
• Create feasible HR solutions, act as a problem-solver and internal business partner within HR dept.

Expatriate Management (5%)

• Review and improve the current process in providing solutions to support HRBPs in the long-term.
• Work with Global Mobility Team and manage the assignees’ remuneration package and contracts, ensuring their smooth transition into Singapore prior to the commencement of their assignments.
• Liaise with tax consultants on their tax matters throughout their assignment period.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any fields
• Minimum 2 years of payroll management experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Perform 3rd party AS9100/9110/9120 audits for South Asia customers.

About You:

• At least 5 years actual work experience in design, development and manufacturing in Aviation, Space or Defence industry and some Part 145 Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul activities.
• Currently qualified as an auditor of AS9100/9110/9120 is preferred.
• Familiar with special processes such as NDT, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Brazing & Welding, etc. will have advantage.
• Familiar with FAA, EASA, CAAS, CAAC, JCAB, DGCA, Airworthiness requirements.

You will partner with various parts of the bank to drive initiatives to embed privacy into the bank’s products and process design, and provide advice on compliance with data protection requirements.

The role involves:

• Implementing the bank’s data protection management programme, including the development, review and implementation of data protection related policies and processes
• Implementing the bank’s data privacy risk management, including working with business units to conduct data protection impact assessments to identify, assess, mitigate and review data privacy risks.
• Partnering business, compliance and risk teams to provide advice to support business units in the development of products and business initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Implementing effective training and communications initiatives to increase staff awareness of data privacy and governance in the bank.
• Implementing the bank’s data privacy management systems, software and tools to effectively oversee and monitor the bank’s processing of personal data and management of consent.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to implement robust data architecture that ensures enterprise data is securely stored and managed effectively, and data governance solutions, metrics, reports and dashboards to improve efficiency, data accuracy and consistency.
• Working with relevant regulatory authorities and industry groupings on developing guidance to provide thought leadership on data privacy, data and AI governance issues and use cases.
• Facilitating and responding to data privacy and governance related enquiries, complaints and data subject requests.
• Overseeing and implementing the bank’s data breach management plan in coordination with relevant business units and functions, and participating as a key member of the bank’s data breach response team.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience and strong understanding of data privacy and involvement in implementing data governance activities and processes in a large organization, preferably in the banking, financial services or digital services sector in Singapore.
• Ability to adopt practical approaches to effectively balance business with compliance requirements.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements of data, and manage the technical implementation of data privacy management systems and software tools.
• Sound understanding and technical experience in data management, including metadata, data access and data quality management, familiarity with Big Data components & Data Warehousing concepts, preferably in SnowFlake.
• Good understanding of data privacy and governance related regulatory requirements, especially in the area of managing and protecting personal data within a Big Data and GenAI environment, and preferably with an understanding of financial sectoral laws and other related regulations.
