Job Responsibilities

• Assist in (i) the design and development of software solutions for Building Managment System (BMS) including chiller systems, HVAC, security, fire alarm and etc, (ii) preparation of P&ID diagram related to the chiller system and its BMS, and (iii) In writing, debugging and testing of the code to control and integrate with the existing BMS system
• Collaborate with engineering team to gather requirements and specification of BMS
• Develop and maintain manuals of the developed BMS system including codes, logic diagrams and system configurations
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy-related Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in the development of BMS for chiller plants
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Responsibilities:

• Handle and calculate the quantity and costing of the different tender assignment. Technical review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and ensure that all requirements are complied.
• Understand general contracts and various documents.
• Provide budget cost or estimates as per instruction.
• Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation.
• Design and source for solutions regarding any technical problems during tender.
• Communicate with other departments in dealing with various documents and issues.
• Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities.
• Evaluate and check on market unit rates monthly /quarterly for material and labour cost.
• Proper handover of all tender document and costing to project team once the tender is awarded.
• Reply tender clarification, preparation for tender interview and presentation.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Engineering field, preferably Electrical Engineering or Triple E
• Min. 4-5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Preferably possess prior experience working with subcontractors/in a subcontractor environment
